I have a prayer request..

Please pray for the residents of Southern California..

My inlaws, my parents, and my brother and his family live in San Diego, and are at risk..

I want to join in Angus' request for prayer in this awful situation. His parents have already been evacuated, and we don't yet know if they'll have a home to return to. My parents are on stand-by, as the fire is currently working around behind their area. We have many friends there as well (as would be expected after having lived there for 21 years), some of whom are in fire-ravaged areas.

At last count, there were 585 homes destroyed and at least 11 lives lost, and that's only in San Diego County - there are many more of each in the LA and San Bernardino areas. I cannot emphasize enough the dire need for prayer now...
