Praise God - DH's job is really going well!

I posted here for prayer when my DH lost his job a little over a year ago. (We have three young children to care for).

He got a job a couple months later working for Target as a computer programmer (basically). Since then he's become the MIT Manager and is most likely going to be getting a nice promotion in the near future. They are discussing now what his new job description will be and the pay level.

This job is SO, SO, SO much better than the one he lost. It could hardly be a better situation for him. He likes his work, the people he works for are professional and bright, and there' room for him to learn and grow.

So thanks to those who have prayed and you can praise God with us for God's great answer to our prayer!

I'm so glad for you and your husband. It's nice to have a job you like. It was a blessing in disguise that he lost his other job. So glad things worked out for him.

MDelorisR, still great! They haven't finished the whole job description and pay level yet, but it's only a matter of time.

He is just really good at what he does there with computer progamming and such, so they really like him and he obviously is glad to be there.

Just to add another PTL!!!!!

Have heard over and over that when God closes one door, He opens another (of course, sometimes that first door hits us in the face!!!!!!).

When first husband said our marriage wasn't working...the day before our 32 anniv., I felt that door slamming and it was an awful feeling.

Thanks be to God....10+ years later and I am married (9yrs.) to a fine guy, we live in a perfect spot (for us...not for everyone, I realize...very rural, a creek, mts. , neighbors with 4 legs or feathers!). God is good.
