My Wonderful Step-Grandmother

They have just found 2 tumors in my Step-Grandmothers brain. She has been given 6-8 weeks to live. They say the treatment & chemo could help for another year. Unfortunately, I work in the medical field and know that when a tumor is situated inside your brain it is NOT curable. She has 1 behind her ear and 1 inside the brain, which can make it even worse during chemo. Along with the fact that she is a 23 year cancer survior. I ask for anyones prayer & guidance in this matter. I am not a person who goes to church every Sunday, but I do believe in God. On Christmas Eve, I prayed my heart out in church, and I will every night, here on out. But I really believe I may need your help along the way.

Thank you all for your thoughts & prayers. Radiation treatments are going well...making her tired, of course, and she is losing chunks of hair (but she has already supplied herself with wigs). Her chemo starts Jan. 13th.

May God bless you and your grandma ("step" is just a word...our hearts know better!!).
He is right there listening to all you are saying (to Him) and thinking...prayer is just conversation with Him..like He is our best, most trusted Friend (and He is!!)...the One to whom we can say ANYTHING!!
Be sure to tell her (over and over and over and over and.......) how you and He love her!!!

If she feels like it, you might read some bits from the Psalms to her...there's some good stuff in them...and they are so neatly placed...right in the middle of the Bible!! Cool!!!

I'm sorry I haven't been around to reply. My grandmother is doing well. One tumor that was found behind her ear is now 95% gone, the other inside her brain is about 50% gone. The tumor in her lungs is 50% gone too. They are still doing radiation until the end of May...but the doctor is pretty sure he can put her in remission for the rest of her life. Thanks for all the prayers. I will let you know more at the end of May. God Bless!
