This breaks my heart! Please Pray for this family!

A few weeks ago, while looking for some jeans for my daughter on Ebay, I came across an auction where the seller gave an update on her infant son who is dying. She has recently sent me an update on him and she has given me her permission to post the email here.
Having an idea of what she is going through, this whole thing just breaks my heart. Please keep this family in your prayers! I have her address if anyone wants to send her anything. I deleted it out of her email because I was not comfortable with posting it for the world to see.


UPDATE FOR ALL OUR WONDERFUL FRIENDS..We want to thank you so much and everything and anything helps right now, we don't make much, my husband is air force here at Scott in Illinois and we are really struggling. the insurance only pays so much and we don't have nursing paid for anymore so everything I make on eBay has to go to keep a night nurse for just 8 hours
so we can sleep, then some nights the monitors go off and he quits breathing and we are down there anyway with no sleep again. I haven't even had time to buy our daughter Haley anything for this winter for clothes and she is feeling a bit left out right now for sure. We hope things will settle down here but I really doubt it as he keeps turning blue on us and not breathing,
the doctors say its one of these spells that will take him.

People ask me if I am embarrassed putting my son on eBay but I tell them no way because eBay is one big family out there in the world. And to tell you the truth we needed help and asking everyone was the hardest thing I will ever have to do, but as I sit here and cry each day watching my son die a little each time it makes me want to help him more. And the only way I can help him and our 2 year old Haley is to ask others to help us out. I would help anyone in our situation in a heartbeat. Everyone has been so wonderful. We have gotten cards from people all over. I still need to find Danny some 1 piece outfits to wear size 6-9m and Haley some clothes in a size 3t, I have asked people and I am willing to pay for them, I just don't have the time to shop right now. By the time I get up I am dealing with the baby until I go to sleep. We have taken time to play with Haley and make her life as normal as we can. She likes to watch some group called the
wiggles and we are trying to find more tapes of that and the veggie tales for her. They told us Danny would not make it to 6 months old but he is 6 months today, now they tell us he won't make it past his 6th month because all these babies with the Arnold chiari II die. You should see his smile though and the way he looks at us and tries to talk through the trach, it's amazing. I am so hurt and cannot explain the hurt I feel inside of me to anyone. To watch your baby die so slow and see him get worse day by day just kills me. I hold him and think of all the things he won't be able to do or see. I think of how others have such beautiful children and mine will be taken from me, it's like having your heart ripped right from your chest. My little boy looks up at me as if to say please help me and there's not a thing I can do. I try not to give up the faith but at time I will tell you it's hard, I think why us and why my baby. It's not fair. I am so grateful
for the people on eBay that have gave us donations and helped us get some nursing care for baby Danny. We are paid up until October 11th, the day I turn 40, wow now that's depressing too. Well I will update everyone some more tomorrow. We tried to make it to St. Louis as Danny was having a hard time waking up and we thought he was in a coma, but we never made it. He
couldn't handle being off the oxygen and humidity that's runs to his trach.
His head has risen up, in the center on the top and is hard as a rock so we have no clue what's going on inside him now. Please pray for him and always keep him in your thoughts and be thankful your children are happy and healthy. Thank you so much again for everything.

How sad, but what a picture of love. Thanks for the post and I will add them to my prayer list. There are so many out there going through these kinds of trying times, but are just holding it within. Pray for them too!

I feel sort of guilty for not keeping up with her updates and looking at her pictures as often as I feel like I ought to, but it really stirs up a lot of emotions for me. The latest update on him doesn't sound good and seems like they are expecting him to pass on any time now. My heart just breaks, as I know how much pain the waiting brings and how it hurts to just look on as your child is dying and be able to do nothing. Please keep this family in your prayers, even long after he passes away.
