Does anyone know of a site where you can play games for points. Use the points to buy things,not just enter contests? I've already tried prizegames.com but you have to buy points to play. I was hoping for a free site!

You don't have to pay for points at prizegames. You can play for free. If you play for free you don't get their "instaprizes" and it takes longer to build up your points. They have a daily limit of 250 points plus any you get off the high score boards. Even with the limits, I get enough points to cash in for a $25 Wal-mart certificate every 2-3 months. Of course, it takes a lot of playing to reach the daily limit, but even if you go slower at least you're eventually going to get something for your time instead of just entering a drawing.

As Kristi67 said you can play for free at prize games and earn up to 250 pts per day. Their games are some of the best on the web and I used to play these same games at other sites and gain nothing. Prize games also is quick to redeem if you choose gift certificates. I once redeemed for prizes and after a long time they recredited my points because the prizes were unavailable. I recently redeemed for $100 walmart gift card and had it within 2 weeks.

I rarely have time to do the basic programs, let alone play for points

I spend at least 8 hours a day online. I work from 3-11 in the afternoon and I'm an early riser, so I go online about 7 and stay on until I go to work. Hubby works 11-8 midnites so he sleeps when he gets home. I only have one son left at home (out of 8 children) and he will be 18 next month. My life was always so busy when the kids were home and now I'm bored, so I have the internet. I take a day away now and then, but I've gotten good at clicking and cleaning house at the same time. As far as the programs I participate in, some of them I get everyday and some I only get to once a week or so. I use all my rewards for gifts for my 9 grandchildren. Saves me a good chunk of change. Oh, I also find time to take a grandchild or two for the day!

Oh yeah, I have to add that since I started visiting DOD, it's been a lot easier to do the rewards programs. I used to spend a lot of time searching for trivia answers. I also found a site called Rewards Cafe that has some good tips managing a lot of programs.

How do you get game credits at prize games?

The easiest way is to purchase them, but if you are like me you don't want to pay for your prize. They have an offer area, (earn games credits) on the left of the page. There are several signups that are no cost that will give you games credits. Most of them do not credit immediately. Once you have game credits, there are bonuses while you are playing that will give you game credits or extra points. Also a lot of the games have daily tournaments and if you happen to get one of the to scores, you are awarded game points. This is true whether you are playing with or without game credits. However, if you are playing with credits the tournament awards are higher. I have picked up a lot of extra points this way.
