HEY all of you--this is VERY VERY important: SOMEONE HAS SOME HOW GOTTEN AHOLD OF MY PASSWORDS FOR MY BLINK, MEMOLINK, & WEBCERTIFICATE ACCOUNTS. SHE HAS CHANGED MY INFO TO HER NAME & ADDRESS. IF YOU'VE READ THE PROBLEMS I'VE BEEN HAVING GETTING INTO MY ACCOUNTS UNDER THE WEBCERTIFICATE THREAD, NOW I KNOW WHY!! I just checked my memolink account, and my password wouldn't work. Knowing I haven't changed it myself, I had it emailed to me. ML sent me an email w/ my "new" password. When I used it to log into my account I was shocked to find that someone got into MY Account, & CASHED IN MY Points (almost 20.000) for 2 $50 certificates to Sears & Cash just yesterday!!!!! JPlus, I can not get into my blink account & my webcertificate account, both of which had substantial point/ cash amounts. This is her name: Janet Law, 24 Hubbard St. #2, Malden, Mass. 02148 [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] The name maybe not be real, but surely the address is in order for her to claim the rewards. I don't know if she got into my personal computer, or these different sites' databases, so I suggest Everyone change their passwords daily for the time being. IF YOU SEE THIS JANET LAW: YOU LOUSY PIECE OF S***, I WILL GET YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. If i was you i would send her an email and let her know that she has committed fraud. If you scare her a little bit she might stop doing this. I doubt it but I would certainly send her a nasty email. Thanks for the info. I think I will check all my accounts.

I would definitely email the customer service department of all the sites and they will ban her from future using of their sites. At least I think they will. I would definitely provide them with all of her information so that they can flag their address. |

May also want to install a firewall to prevent these slime bags from breaking into your computer. Last friday my firewall went crazy intercepting intruders on these sites.

I'm sorry you're having these problems. One more thing to make you lose some more faith in humanity. I haven't had anyone steal my accounts, but I did have someone use my email address to sign up for a bunch of stuff. This was about a year ago and I'm still getting some spam attention her name. I emailed many of the sites to which she opened up accounts. I never heard back from any of them, but did stop getting emails from them. She wasn't very bright using my email address because all I had to do was go to the site, click on forgot password, and enter my email address then I had her account access to her info. I changed all of the passwords so she couldn't access those accounts. Good luck with your current situation. Is there some type of Internet Fraud department with the Dept. of Consumer Affairs you can file a complaint with???

You may want to consider doing this also-since personal information may have been acquired?? Call the three national credit > reporting organizations immediately to place a fraud > alert on your name and SS#. The alert > means any company that checks your credit knows your > information was stolen and they have to contact you by > phone to authorize new credit. > > The numbers are: > Equifax: 1-800-525-6285 > Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742 > Trans Union: 1-800-680-7289 > Social Security Administration (fraud line): > 1-800-269-0271

Okay everyone should take her address and put pet poop in a box and send it to her, maybe that would stop her, she might get sick of opening her mail.

| Re: Hope this is what you are looking for
Thanks you guys for all the support! There's so much stuff in my life going right now, I sure as **** don't need this BS. I still can't believe it happened. Anyway, since I knew what password "Janet Law" was using, I'm able to access my accounts-- so I am keeping track of my accounts still. I don't want to change any info until I can talk to Memo & Blink reps, who by the way, are impossible to get ahold of thru phone or email. All I get is VM's & noone who cares enough to call or email back. As for webcertificates, I am working w/ them to straighten this out--good ole Janet already tried to use it to make purchases. This is how easy it was for her to change my account; since she already had my password, she easily changed info like email, home addy, phone # to her own. BUT to actually change the name on the account, you have to call cust support. So she pretended to be me, gave them my email & password, told them to change it to Janet Law and THAT'S ALL she needed to do. Didn't need a Soc #, a mothers maiden name, nothing of that sort. From that point, she was in the clear to start using the w.c. for purchases. I just spoke w/ Webcertificate.com & they told me that this person also has another w.c. account & they suspect that to be fraudulent as well. So just doublecheck your accounts. I caught what was going on somewhat early on--she hasn't cashed in blink points, & hopefully I can get my hard earned points back from memolink. I've changed all my passwords for all my online banking, email accounts, point reward sites-- it's insane how violated I feel. I have no idea what info they have on me, whether it's my SS#, credit cards, bank info, etc. I'm definitely reporting this person to the sites suggested. I'm sure I'm not the only person she is victimizing. Incidently-- I looked up 24 Hubbard St Malden Ma in hotmail white pages--- There was a match!! Under the name "Jack Smith". Also interesting I found...there is an actual Janet Law who lives only 30min in a town called Wellesley Hills. Coincidence??? Could they be the criminals?? Whoever you are you're going to be sorry you messed w/ me you @#%%#$#!!!! (sorry you guys, you know I'm usually pretty nice, but this is just so awful & i'm just so maddddd) |

Glad-you found the information useful. I'd be surprised if any of those names are legit. I'd be shocked if the person that did this is actually living at the address-you would think they would of been smarter and used a mailbox service such as mailboxes etc. with a fake identity. Maybe one of those point programs can try and locate what isp was used by the individual although there are ways around that. You could try sending a certified letter to address and see if someone signs for it??
