We'd need to know what browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) to provide specific directions. But easiest long-term solution is to set up your browser for two different users (you and DH). When you open the browser, it will show you a list of users and ask who you are. That way, each user has their own permanent, separate cookie file. I know this works in both IE and Netscape.

I may have spoken too soon about it working in IE... I thought I had helped a friend set this up, but in searching IE "help" all I find is how to set up WINDOWS 98 for different users. Go to Control Panel, click on USERS, you can even copy your existing settings under a new name so there's not much set-up. To change, you go to Start/Log off [user] and then DH would log into Windows.

If you have a dial-up connection, you probably have to disconnect before logging off/on, which is a bit of a hassle. It works much more neatly in Netscape, where the different users are just for Netscape (not for the entire operating system) and you can "hot swap" while still connected.

Sorry to have misled you about the ease and functionality of IE. Maybe someone else knows a more elegant solution?

** You might want to post the question in General Chit Chat forum, that's where the techies seem to hang out!**
