Milesource Redemption question

Hi,
I wanted to know that how much points do i need in order to get a 25$ supercertificate?I know that the point value for a 25$ SC is 3500 at there site,but i've heard from somewhere that u have to have actually a little bit more then this amount inorder to get the SC,like 3600 or 3700...........Is this right?Plz help.

i've gotten several SC from milesource.com and they have always been the amount listed in the redemption section. i have never had to spend extra points to redeem for an award with them. hope this answers your question.

It does not cost you more than your redemption amount(3500 points or whatever), but you will be unable to cash out unless you have at least ten(10) points over the amount. As I understand from some very helpful folks here at DOD, you need at least 10 points to keep your account open so you need at least 3510 points to cash out for a $25 SuperCertificate. The 10 points over(or whatever you have) will be left in your account and they wil only debit the required amount of points.
