I tried to do one of these surveys posted and got this reply from buzzback THANKS SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

Please note that any attempt to defraud BuzzBack by taking
surveys to which you are not invited, posting invite only
BuzzBack surveys to message boards and/or submitting false
information to BuzzBack disqualifies you from any and all
payments for BuzzBack surveys. We may also add you to a
blacklist to ensure that you are not paid for any future
surveys as well. If abuse persists, BuzzBack will take
legal action.

BuzzBack is committed to compensating members fairly for
their thoughts and their time. However any attempts to abuse

Never once have I qualified to take one of their surveys Every single invite I have ever gotten from them always said sorry you do not qualify so I finally gave up on them

I'm new to surveys and I am beginning to most of the "survey" companies are just marketing companies and don't care about my opinion or compensating me for it.

Am I way off base? Maybe I haven't found the good ones yet.

Same for me. They get some info from me and then say I do not qualify. Have done at least 5 times. Never qualify.
I love Pinecone. They send you surveys for which you have pre-qualified. And they send the $5 very quickly.

You will not qualify for all surveys. To make money taking paid surveys you must be registered with several companies. They ask you the qualifying questions for a reason. Here's an example:

Say Johnson & Johnson hired Global Test Market to conduct a market research study for them. They want to hear from women between the ages of 18 and 24 that have a baby under 2 years old and have a househould income of under $30,00. They pay global test market to conduct this study. Global Test Market then sends the study out to it's members and asks you a few questions to see if you qualify. If you are 35 yrs old with no children you would not qualify. Johnson and Johnson is paying good money. A paid survey company cannot just have anyone take their surveys. The information they collected would be worthless. If you want studies that are directly for you I would suggest you fill out all of your profiles. Buzzback is great for product testing. Also BzzAgent is great too. You can't sign up with one paid surveys company and expect to make any real money. But if you take the time to research it and sign up twenty or thirty good companies you can easily make some extra money every month.

How do you sign up for Pinecone? I've heard they are good.

Pinecone is great. They send you a $5 check for each survey. And sometimes they even send the check before you take the survey.
To sign up with them you must find a banner invitation. I don't currently have one. But you can try doing a search on google for "pinecone banner" and see what comes up. I am a member of alot of forums and I see banners from time to time. If I come across one I will post a link to it

Speaking of Buzzback Surveys, I just got a $6 check from them last week for one of their surveys I had done. So once in a while they do pay!
