| How do I get points from FunnyMoney?
Funny money owes me 20,000 points for signing up with Sharebuilder.com and funding the account. I've emailed them 6 times (saved the letters), but they don't respond. Has anyone else had this kind of problem with them, and how did you solve it? They give me all my daily points, and I've never had a problem getting my webcertificates from them. This is the first time I've shopped with them however. Now I wish I had gone through someone else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

reply to : theresaD90,hi theresa, please do not hold your breath, funny money does not respond to emails, or phone calls. i called and got a response and after them looking up my account, oh yes i should have my money in 3 days. 3 days has stretched again into 3 months. my anger is that we are their emloyees, and if we don't get treated a little more fairly and at least acknowledged then sooner or later they will regret it. .......... getting carried away it has been since april, and before they have owed me money and my husband. his is #10.00"s with left over points and mine is 35 dollars with a lot of left over points. i don't want to discourage you but maybe it is a lost cause? I hope not. And what about lottoforever??????? anyone heard? |

Me too. They've owed me a WC since June, and after trying the emails and complaining at planetfeedback, I still have no result. In my opinion, they are the worst type of company - not paying what they owe us and to make things worse, not even attempting to respond, to be civil, honest, etc. I hope you do get your points, but I'd stay away after that. There is a chance that they are still paying out a few things, maybe to the "squeekiest wheels," so definitely give it a shot. Good luck!

Devlina: You didn't bring me down I'm just ticked that I could have gone through someone else made a few less points (in value). I've never had a problem with Funny Money giving me my points daily or cashing out for certificates, but this was the first, and last, time I had shopped through them. Probably will chalk it up to a bad experience, but it kind of bites my ***. Thanks everyone. |

I was getting emails from them every day...clogging up my account... I have unsubscribed to them soooo many times and they keep sending them! I've turned them in to my ISP and finally put a block sender on them.... THEY STILL GET THROUGH! They get my vote for the most annoying net company out there.

| Mail from who??? FunnyWHAT???
[QUOTE]Originally posted by heyitsmesheila [B]I was getting emails from them every day...clogging up my account... Yes, I also remember the time when Funnymoney (oh what a name!!! we should have known they had been phony from the very beginning!) sent e-mails around; they even congratulated me on my birthday. Then they eliminated e-mail boxes on their site, without warning anyone. Luckily I used it for spam mail. Then they started responding in a very FUNNY way to requests for credits, e.g. (april 24, 2001) Our data entry personnel are extremely bogged down, due to an unforeseen workload. I'm sorry for any inconveniences to you. Paul Customer Care OR (May 18, 2001) I'll personally take care of it this weekend. Paul Customer Care OR (Sept 04., 2001) We are currently in the process of relocating our offices. We will attempt to correct this problem as soon as possible. We appologize for any inconviniences to you. Paul, Customer Care I mean, these guys have never been really serious, but we all who spent hours working on their site (I spent about a year for a meagre $10 Web GC) should do something nasty to them, like they did to us. Just for fun, eh? |
