Question Target GC/MyPoints-Anyone gotten theirs yet?

I cashed out for a Target GC from MyPoints on 11-14, my niece cashed out on 11-14 too, and my Mom cashed out on 11-4... STILL no GC's and the points are still in "points pending redemtion"... No answer to e-mails asking when they'll be mailed out either...

Has anyone else cashed out for Target GC's and received them yet??? Or still waiting???

Has anyone else been able to get a "mailing date" from MyPoints, for when they will be mailing out the Target GC's??? Maybe they are waiting till the final day for Target GC's availability, and then will get and send them out all at once..?!?!? Argh!!! I should have just went for the Toys R Us GC...

Yes, I have received several Target gc's from MyP...they do take a while longer than others tho I've found, but they do come. I cashed out for a ToysRUs yesterday and there's a note on the acct info that it won't be sent out till 12/22...GRRRR, don't know why so long this time, usually I receive them within a week or two. Maybe they're overwhelmed by Christmas cashouts?

If I remember from last year - the delay went to like 6 weeks for cashing out. all I remember is that people were frustrated but it was because alot of poeple cashed out for the holidays. One would think they might be prepared - but oh well. Good luck to all of you who cased out.

I cashed out on November 4th for a $50 Target GC. It's still in pending process. On my November account statement it shows up with 5750 points used and then 12/04/2001 under it. So I'm guessing they will ship that on the 4th of December? This is the longest I've ever had to wait for a Target GC. Or any redemtion from MyPoints. Normally it's only been a week or so.

I too cashed out in early November for a target GC. Nothing yet and it is showing as pending. I hope they come through by Christmas.

I haven't had any problems getting my gc's from MyPoints and they've always come pretty quick........

I imagine they've been getting bombarded with redemption requests for Target since they were discontinuing Target gc's as well as redemptions in general for people wanting them before Christmas.

The redemption confirmation always says to allow up to 6 weeks to receive it.

My Points Gift Certs

You may like to try switching from ordering specific GC's when cashing out to ordering Web Certificates when cashing out. I much prefer this method. You can surf from many sites, combine all of your earnings this way. You can order a Web Certificates Mastercard, pile all of your earnings onto the card and shop anywhere Mastercard is accepted online or off. I recently cashed out on several of the sites I use and used all of my converted points into cash to purchase my daughters' class ring. Once you get the Web Certificates card, you can shop at places that you never had access to before because there were no gift certificates available to them via surfing. Also, the web certificates are paid out much faster since it is all web based. I hope you all like my idea. I am much happier going this route. Besides, the WC Mastercard fits in my wallet nicely.

I was just coming to ask a question about Webcertificates/MyPoints. I am ready to cash out again (yeah!!!) and was thinking of getting a webcertificate so that I could use it at Amazon. How long does it take to get the webcertificate?

Thanks!
Andrea

Rolling eyes Web Certificates from My Points

I've been tracking how long it takes for My Points to get out Web Certificates. For the most part, it is taking about 2-3 weeks. You get an e-mail with a link to WC's site and you just go to the site and "deposit" your My Points Web Cert. My husband just ordered another $25 today. BTW-Hello from Seoul, Korea

You order the hard plastic card from the Webcertificate.com's website.....yep, "order".......they charge a fee for it.

I went to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] logged in, clicked on Shop Anywhere under Returning Customers (left hand side of screen), clicked on the picture of what looks like a Mastercard on the right (says, "take it to the streets") and got a pop up window that said this:

More than the gift of online shopping...it's now the gift of offline shopping, too! Introducing the plastic Webcertificate Shopping Card - the Webcertificate you can carry in your wallet! Webcertificate offers the same acceptance as a MasterCard both online and offline. Order yours today by contacting our friendly Customer Service Team at 800-511-1781.

There is a one-time-only fee of $6.95 per card.

Big grin Web Certificate Card

YES! The Web Certificate card works anyplace that Mastercard is accepted. Surf online and shop at ANYPLACE online or offline that accepts Mastercard. Better yet, for all the people in your house that have accounts that will pay off on Web Certificates, put ALL of the cashed in points on one card and then you can purchase larger items. My husband applies all of his pay outs to my card, my daughter the same. Can you see the snowball effect of applying all the accounts to one card now? INTERESTING how fast it piles up!
Merry Christmas--Happy Surfing----Marcie
