MyPoints...maybe I'm doing this wrong?
Okay, as I recently reported I decided to apply for the MyPoints Mastercard (thanks to the helpful feedback from fellow DODer's) and I received an email that said "Congratulations! Your 1200 Points for getting your MyPoints(R) MasterCard will be credited to your account within 7-10 days." Well, as usual it had been longer than the said time, and I decided to contact MyPoints customer service. So I receive a response from them that said:
Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Care.
Our records indicate that the Points you referred to have
been posted to
your account.
Please remember that you MUST refresh your Earn Key before
checking your
Account Balance.
Okay, so here's the problem....I currently have 831 points, how could 1200 have been credited to my account? There are no records showing it has been credited, I log out and log back in, I check my weekly account history and there is no credit for the points in any week. Is there something else I should be doing in order to show the "correct" number of points that I have? When I get a Bonus Mail, the points show up the next day without any refreshing, so I don't understand what customer service is talking about. I'm just not sure if I should write them back, or if there's something wrong on my end.
