You can also donate Greenpoints to the United Way through [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] ... I have read elsewhere that you need to put in the zip code of where you want your donation to go. I read 10048 is the zip of the WTC.

Every time I see one more thing on the web, yahoo, amazon, points sites...I cry all over again.

I am 45 years old ... in all those years I have never seen this country 100 per cent united. I hate that it took so many lives to do just that. I hate that people hate. I wish that some miracle would occur that really would bring peace to the entire world. I am a dreamer...but at least a part of my dream has been realized. To see America united like it is today is amazing.

I will be donating my points and my blood. I don't have much money so it is wonderful to be able to do SOMETHING!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the heros who lost their lives yesterday...they became heros when they lost their lives to bring this country together.

God Bless America...I am PROUD to be an American!

Cindy

Maybe our tears never should stop?!

I just lost my father, 5 months ago yesterday. He was a Korean War Vet who was wounded twice. Every time I think of him I get tears in my eyes, and it's okay. I know that when I cry for him I cry for what this world is missing...his smile, his laughter and his wisdom.

I think that my tears will last a lifetime for the people that were lost yesterday...for all the same reasons...

I could go on, but my eyes are full again and I can't.

I love you all...God Bless America

Does anyone know how much they are donating for our points? Miller's Rewards is donating .50 per 100 pts, but Mypoints doesn't list an amount.

I'm not positive, but I think MyPoints gives the points to the Red Cross to redeem as they see fit.

Memolink is now allowing you to purchase Red Cross donations in addition to donating the points from the site of the day:

Furthermore, Memolink is making it possible for you to use your points
toward helping others during this difficult time. If you choose, you
can spend your points towards a $15, $20 or $50 donation to be made to
the American Red Cross. Once you redeem your points towards a donation,
Memolink will immediately send the contribution to the American Red
Cross and you will receive a certificate in the mail, acknowledging your
donation.
