Unhappy I need HELP with Milesource!

Ever since Saturday Milesource has been terribly slow(30-45 minutes to get through the click fixes, etc) for me and for other members of my family. We have NEVER had this problem before and all other sites load just fine, except for Milesource! I wrote to them and they responded by telling me that there are no problems at their end. We just don't know what to do, besides stop going to the site.

ANY SUGGESTIONS? Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaasssssssseee!!!

PS
If it matters, we have a cable modem....

Their site may not be having problems, but their server might. A lot of people (and companies) don't think about their Web server and just how much bandwidth it can handle. They probably need to update it, or get a faster processor.

Unfortunately, I really don't think there is anything you can do.

You could try writing them with that suggestion, but chances are that the customer service department doesn't even know what a server is, and will ignore your suggestion completely.

Sorry. Just thought I'd give you a note, even though it's a little discouraging. Maybe someone else will have a better suggestion.

Have you tried using the Netcaptor browser and opening multiple windows. It takes me about 2-3 minutes to do my account. If you do click type programs, you should try Netcaptor...[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

I clicked on your link to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and still couldn't get on milesource. I am really
unhappy with the way things have been working on milesource for the past 2 days.
I love milesource, but when it takes 30 min to click everything, thats just to long. I have
been getting shorted on am also. I keep count and I get shorted 1 or 2 a day it seems .

Exclamation THANK YOU, grannysarms!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOO I am not alone....SOOOOO NICE TO KNOW! THANK YOU for responding!! HUG!

I also have been shorted each day, 1-3 points, since this" SLOW" problem started on Saturday!!! If you haven't already done so, PLEASE email Milesource about your problem! I BET there are loads of us out there having a problem..now if some of us email Milesource MAYBE they will address the problem instead of saying it is not them!

Netcaptor link does not work for me either....but I THANK YOU ALL for your words of advice here...ANYONE ELSE??

You are all greatly appreciated!!!

NetCaptor is a browser like netscape, opera, explorer, etc. You have to download it from their website. The basic NetCaptor browser is free. Sorry, I thought everyone who did these sort of programs already knew about NetCaptor. It really does make life so much easier. Why do you think there are so few complaints about MileSource?

I did download the browser but it was just as slow for me as IE. I DO open multiple windows in IE and it USED to work just fine..UNTIL Saturday! I have no idea why there are so few complaints about Milesource.

THANKS for trying to help!!!

I have been having trouble all the time lately. Wish I could just do the Click Fix and not have
any problems. My whole family is having problems. I intend to write or call them about it.
They never answer my complaints, but then they don't usually return my calls either.

Got this tip from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] If you're using I.E., you can hit the shift key before you click on the clikfix link and it will open up in a new window. I found that this speeds the whole process up immensely. After the "return to milesource message pops up, I close the window. Personally, I wait about 10 seconds after opening one to open another. Hope that helps.

Chatter box THANK YOU ALL......

I am trying all your suggestions...unfortunately nothing seems to help the slowness. My kids are so frustrated by it that they are about to give up and cash in for good...I am not far behind, nor my DH. BUT I guess I will keep on trying a little bit longer....

THANKS AGAIN!

Love This worked for me

I erased my cookies.

I have IE 5.0, went to Tools on menu bar, Internet options, cleared history and deleted temporary files.

I don't know why, it's just magic I guess

Unhappy

Hey Vieprivee I am having as much trouble as you.I asked some women at work and their milesource was slow too.
It about drives me nuts.I can click on something and then get up and go to the kitchen to do something and I sure havent missed anything because it is just ready for me to click again .If I get to it real early in the morning about 5am it isnt as bad.But I leave for work at 5:30 now and so that put a end to that. Will have to just cope, because I like milesource and dont want to quit.
