| Let's think here, shall we. 1. Their site has been down for a month now and they haven't updated their message since 7/30 promising to be up in the next 24 hours. 2. They have probably lost many of their advertisers because they have not been able to provide them any hits since their database exploded. The Internet is a world of immediate results and PR is not providing these results. 3. Database crashes and people that are paid to fix database crashes are not cheap. 4. Way back when, they promised us 250 points for making sure our information was correct and as a 'thanks for the patience' offer. Their site has been down for a total of 33 days now. On average I was able to earn 30 points per day. So I am missing out on 990 points. The 250 hardly seems to cover it. So, does anyone even check anymore to see if they are up, or am I the only one? Does anyone plan to use them once they are back up? (I know I am going to hear it from Scott this time, but please share guys. I'm just curious.)

| I have to say, that even before the site went down ~ i stopped visiting it. I had signed up for several deals and hadnt gotten the points for anyone of them. I had kept accurate track and even saw it on my account statement page, that showed them all pending. i did contact scott regarding the matter and really got nowhere with it. Im not down playing primarewards, but I dont think that i should have to email a reward site each and everytime i do a deal to make sure that my points are issued. I realize that they are new, so i waiting an extra month, and still no points, so i decided to walk away. If scott or prima decides to reimburse all my points that are due to me, then i will go back, but i will not go through all my emails and resubmit the notifications that i signed up with the sites as proof. That is something i expect prima rewards to do. i hope nothing i say influences the members any way..this is just my opinion. and how i choose to do my rewards ![]()

| Well...your not the only one checking everyday! I feel it is probably gone....sorry to see it go. But I do wish they would update it to let us know what their intent is.

| Nothing from Scott??? Maybe they are out of business. Well, that's a shame.

| I think it is gone. I have emailed them twice in the past two weeks. One being a couple days ago. NO RESPONSE from them. Before all this he or someone there would email me back. I might be wrong.......but I don't think so. ![]()

| Prima Rewards is not going to disappear. We have encountered one obstacle after another to getting our database repaired, servers online, etc. I'm just as disappointed as all of you are at the amount of time we've been down and difficulty in getting our site restored. We had an option and could have done, like some other companies I won't name, and just said "oops, we lost our database, too bad, but you can sign up again if you want", but we haven't. Its been a very expensive daunting task to repair, and to date, its paid off, however, there are still a few holes we are trying desperately to fill before relaunching everything. As to points not being credited, Prima Rewards pays points on ALL transactions we are paid for by advertisers. We have very stringent technical standards of our advertisers that attempt to ensure accurate tracking (we turn away more then 30% of advertisers for poor technical standards or reliability in our initial tests with the reporting of transactions), however, we have to ultimately rely on reports from remote servers, etc., that are out of our control. We try to work individually with those few cases where points are not credited, however, if ultimately the advertiser won't pay us for the transaction, we can't pay points for it. If anything, we go out of our way in the other direction. We've had cases here and there where we're paid for transactions that don't have associated users and we do everything we can to track down the user. Same goes for referrals. About 5% of signups come in with an e-mail address or individuals name rather then a username (which our system doesn't automatically match, but instead puts it in a research pile), and we expend a great deal of efforts making sure the right people get credited. In either case, I'll try to keep you guys informed. There is no current ETA. I'd like to optimistically say in a few days, however, we've missed a dozen projected deadlines and decided at this point, the best time frame to provide is no time frame at all (rather then continuing to give you dates and times that we fail to make). | Well, that was promising - at least, the fact that you have a response from a concerned principle, if not for much of the content of the response itself. I have never joined or even visited this site, but I plan to look into it now. Thanks to Mr. Hammond for keeping your visitors informed now. |
