I keep a log that I made up in Excel with a place for the site name, date, comments (bonus mail, registration, survey, etc.), and point value. I check my account weekly and check off the ones that are credited. They pretty much credit them in order that you clicked so I can go straight down my log and mark them off. About 1-2 times a month I will go down my log and email them about the points that I do not believe I had been credited. I have all the info and have always gotten credited for my missing points after I have emailed them. I have actually only had to email them twice about the same points one time. Yes, it would be easier if they specified, but if I believe something is missing I email them and they're in my account within a week!
No, I really don't like having to "babysit" my account, but all in all, that really is a small price for the $$$$ I have in gc's just waiting to be spent on decorating/odds & ends (Target) and landscaping (Home Depot) for my new house! Afterall MOST (but not all) of my points have just been for clicking.......
