Does anyone know if Amazon certficates are stackable? If so, can they be combined even if they come from two different people?

Many are stackable. The key is whether or not they say "promotional". Promotional certificates are not stackable. If you are unsure, try to put it in your account and it will tell you it's promotional or accept it if it's stackable. It doesn't matter from how many sources you obtain them. Just add them and save them up (be sure to keep track of expiration dates). You can use a promotional certificate at the same time you use your saved balance, however, you can only use one promotional one per order. Thus, if you have a $10 promo and a $30 certificate balance in your account, you can a) make a $40 (or more, if you want to use your own money) order or b) use the promo to make a smaller order and the balance of the gcs remain in your account (till you use it or it expires).


If you have a promo and a regular gc and want to place an order right away, put the regular one in our account before you shop and enter the number for the promo at checkout. The balance over the promo will be deducted from your gc account and if the total order is more than your combined certificates, you will be asked for a credit card.

Do you know if the Amazon certificates from Sklif are promotional or stackable? I haven't received any yet but I have almost enough points to cash in for one. I would choose the Amazon certificate if it were stackable. If not, I might choose to save my points for a bigger prize.

I really don't know about that. Sometimes reading the prize description will tell you. If it says something like "one certificate may be used per order" it's promotional. Sometimes it says it's promotional.

Promotional certificates have more numbers and digits in the last section of the code than do the stackable ones. eg 5 instead of 4 or 6 instead of five. Off the top of my head I can't remember how many there are. Sorry

Has anyone received an amazon gift certificate thru sklif who knows if they are stackable or promotional?

Promotional certificates have 16 numbers/letters.

Gift Certificates have 14 letters/numbers.

You can only use 1 promotional certificate per order, but you can add as many gift certificates to that order as you want.
