what is the diff between web cert and direct cert

In the rewards section of blink they list both web certificates and direct certificates. What is the difference if any. I noticed the direct certificates take a lot less points.

A webcertificate is like a credit card that you can use to buy anything online. A direct certificate is a gift certificate from directcertificates.com that you choose a specific place to get a gift certificate.
