| I got a nice little email from mypoints that said that If I updated my profile to accept my points sponsors offers by regular postal mail, I would get 25 instant points for doing so, plus the chance to earn lots more points for receiving the offers by regular mail. I figured it would be fine with me because I get tons of junk mail that I am not compensated for daily anyway. Anyone else get this?

| Nope, didn't get it, but I wish I had. I'd love to get something in exchange for junk mail ![]()

| I guess this is a new strategy for mypoints, perhaps they are going to stick around a while. I hope they send this to everyone. My daughter didn't get one, but she did go and update her profile, hoping she would get the offer soon. I really wish we could all get some more points. I know that the site has been down a lot for me lately, hope they are adding more offers. They are kind of skimpy right now. |

| LOL..me too prairiedawn !! I figured why not check everything and get even more junk mail...plus more points !! I get an email from them everyday worth 10 points for reading it adn then worth more if I take the offer. I have accumulated over 1200 points in a month because of the emails !! I hope the mail is the same way !! stking.... I take tons of my junk mail ( and papers) to my daughters school, they have a huge recycle box there. So maybe we will be getting recycled trees?? LOL ![]() |

| I love coming to this place! You reminded me to check my mail. I got the email too. I also noticed while I was there that they don't offer any visit website points right now. Hmmmm. Thanks for the reminder! ![]() |

| I got the email and have already deleted it. When I read it I thought I'd just get the 25 points one time for agreeing to receive the snail mail. Does it say you will get points for each thing that is sent? I said no because I'm feeling guilty about all the trees that are being used and the various companies money that is being spent to send me junk I don't want. Since the policy said my name and address would be given out to third parties I opted not to do it. mbclark1 - regarding your remark that they may be changing their policies and staying around awhile, just last week it was announced that they were being acquired by United Airlines, actually by United NewVentures which is a part of the UAL Corp. Not really sure what impact it will have on us but it doesn't sound like bad news. Prior to this with the stock price under $2.00 a share you had to wonder how long they would be around. Hopefully this acquistion will keep it going for a while. |

| I got that email too and I just figured they were doing that to help them review their database to try to clear out some people with more than 3 accts at one address or something. Although I guess that might not help much really... this may be a pessimistic way of looking at it, but who can blame me for being a pessimist sometimes these days...? |

| mbclark1, don't beat yourself up over missing out on the stock opportunity. While it is true that the stock went up over 50% in a day I wouldn't look for that growth to continue. Acquisitions usually result in the acquiring company's stock going down and the company that is acquired's stock going up on the news. UAL paid $2.60 a share for the stock which the day before was I think $1.65 a share, so the value immediately went up. That doesn't mean it won't come back down to $1.65. |
