Hi, I just turned in my points..only to find out that you are allowed to use only one ( YES 1 ) of their free points....these were found in the coupons mailed from pampers and also the newspaper coupons in february. I only had 14 points that were free .....I had collected 211 from trading( about 70 points ) and from my twins. They would not honor the additional free points and sent me a letter. It said I could send in 8 points from wipes or diapers, OR pick different toys for less values ( which wasn't an option when i wanted the power wheels !! ) They do not offer to send the points back !!!! I called the pampers perks hotline and spoke with a CS. She said too many people were sending in orders with all free points or half the order was with free points.
I found that very unfair to us mothers who have saved our points and traded other points for the perks. I had less than 10% off my point total from free points and they still wouldn't honor my order. I have boughten pampers because of the perks..I prefer luvs ( cheaper and more absorbent in my opinion ) There were a couple times I could have saved money by buying the cheaper brand but I thought of the points ( and how much the twins would love the power wheels !!)......I spend over $100 in diapers a month..on top of that add formula and baby food !! I think pampers could have accepted the measley 8 free points !!

So I just wanted to warn others who think they can get money or trade things for the free points ....they should stop scamming people. And for the people who really want or need the free toys...don't get ripped off by paying or trading for free points.

I have offered to buy points for $.10 a point..but no one would take the money..they sent them to me for free. Thanks to the good people at DOD who have helped in my effort.....I am mailing pampers the 8 points they need to complete my order.

And thanks to all the people who sent in their orders using free points only (obviously they didn't buy diapers or even need them if they sent in only free points ) and ruined it for me !!!!

Awww that's just rotten! Thanks for the head's up. I have a bunch of people in my mommy group that are excited about saving these points - so I'll have to warn them about this.

I only have 2 free points things (one 4 and one 6) so I'll be sure to just use one.

I'm also going for the power wheels! I'm a little over halfway there.

Hi Jodi - that really stinks. I think I may have a couple from the wipes, if you need them let me know and I'll try to find them.

Thanks Jenplo !! I'll accept any help I can get !! Didn't you send me some before??
I also see auctions for these points on ebay...one was for 236 free 2 points ( from newspaper coupon) Someone had bid $51 on them ...and the auction is still active !!! They will be ticked off when they find out they can't use them all at once !!! I did contact ebay and let them know about pampers rules ( I included the number for them to contact pampers if theyw anted to)......I might be wrong but I would hate to pay $51 for useless points !!!!

Has anyone else heard more about this???

My girls, ages 2 & 3-1/2, LOVE Little People - they have the Discovery City, Main street, Airplane, House and some little extras - so we sent in for the Little People Fun Park.

I know it can take quite a while to get it, but I haven't even heard anything back about only being able to use one of the 2 pointers in a redemption. I guess that's a good thing it hasn't come back - i sent in 3 or 4 with this order. There was nothing about using only 1 on their redemption form.

Anyway, if anyone has any more info on this, please post as I will be redeeming again as I'm sure many many other people will!

Just a sidenote for those saving up for the PowerWheels: I was talking with a girlfriend about these and how great it would be to have a two-seater for my two girls. After our conversation, I have changed my mind! She knows several people who have bought these for their kids and now that is the only thing these kids will do outside...they refuse to skate, play ball, bike, everything physical! Their outside time is dominated by something that lacks physical activity! So please, if you do get your child a PowerWheels or anything along these lines, be sure to limit and moderate their time spent on it......for their sake! Exercise and physical activity is so important for kids!

My daughter had a power wheels...she played with other things though. The battery died so fast we had to recharge it every few days !! So she got a break once in awhile. Also with I was told this only seats 1 child , I would love to know if it seats two. It would be perfect for the twins if it did ...if not I have another 8 months to save up for another one !!!

TTulipss....You can call the toll free number from the website and they will tell you about the free point problem. It could be because the power wheels is so popular and expensive..many people are taking advantage of it.

After I complained enough they did accept the few free points I had because of the fact it does not state anywhere on the mail in form about free point redemption.

Hey Jodi - I do believe the PowerWheels offered in the points program is a one-seater (you can take a closer look at the items - go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and click on the box on the right when it is on Perks - it flashes between offers/vantastic sweepstakes/perks program). Info on the jeep did state a maximum of 50 lbs. so that would lead me to believe it seats one child.

As for the points issues.....they say NOTHING about only using one 2-point freebie from the Sunday coupons:

From the FAQ's:
"How do I use the points from my newspaper or from the mailer I received?
These are Starter Points designed to help you begin saving for Pampers Perks toys and merchandise. Starter Points may be included with your UPCs with Pampers Points as you save for Perks items. Also, Starter Points must be originals; copies are not acceptable."

It's been a few weeks and I haven't heard anything back, so I take that as a good thing. I'll call and argue the point if I have to, but am hoping it won't be necessary.

Here are the official rules:

Just an update:

I used 3 or 4 of the Free 2 pointers out of the Sunday coupons when I redeemed my points. I never heard anything back from Pampers that I could only use 1 of these. Well, Fed Ex came yesterday with the Little People Fun Park for my girls! What a fun toy - the girls love it and have been fighting over it since it came!

Thats great !!! Glad it came for you !!.. I think it may be just for the power wheels...they must be losing some money on them if people are not buying diapers and getting a free one !!

This is the best rewards programs for diapers... the shipping is cheap ( unlike LUVS )... the products are great ( unlike huggies .. personalized shoes !!???!! )

Thanks for the update !!
