I refuse to ride the Unmagical Bus! I will do searches, WHICH ARE CREDITED INSTANTLY! The only thing "magic" about that bus is the Pied Piper spell that it has on people that "Makes" them keep riding to their own destruction! HaHa! If I do searches daily I can cash out at least every two months..Hey, Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves, and Rosa Parks did not refuse to give up her seat, so that I can keep riding the "UnMagical Bus"!

I, too, am not riding the bus. Back when you only got 30 to 50 points for riding for 100 minutes, I rode everyday, but to spend 100 minutes of my time on the off chance that I "may" win points is not enough incentive for me. I would ride if I were guaranteed points.

| I agree.
Don't get me wrong, I still love Free Ride. I will keep doing my searches, but no Magic Bus for me. It is just to many minutes out of my day, with no guarantee of points.

It seems almost impossible to collect enough tokens to get points since you can only pick up 50 hitchhickers. You need to get lots of bonus points to be one of the day's winners.

| bus stinks big time
Unless people know someway to cheat on this program I totally give up.. I should have won the day before yesterday but I didn't... Something weird is going on with the bus right now. I am doing it, and the "ride on" windows are popping up every 10 seconds!! And so are the hitchhikers! The bus has gone into warp speed

 THE WASTE OF TIME BUS..and Bonus points?
I've tried and tried and no matter what I can't even get 100 points, even though I have been WAY OVER the daily average for three days now. I GIVE UP!! I do not have time to sit around for hours and HOPE the tokens translate into points!!! HOW can this be fair? I just don't get it!!! There are only 3 featured sponsors that I can find today as opposed to 6 or 7 in the past. AND the bonus point have not been working properly for me in the past few days..they disappear before I get to click on them. I LOVE Free Ride and I AM GLAD that they have not closed down as we were so afraid that they would do, but there has GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!!!! THE MAGIC BUS should be called THE WASTE OF TIME BUS!!!

I didn't ride the bus Tuesday or Wednesday and I haven't missed wasting all that time. I think that they think that just because we are looking for free stuff that we are a bunch of lazy bums without a life. After discovering that I didn't get 100 points when I had 245 tokens on Monday (average was 182), I said "Self, this is totally ridiculous". I really liked FreeRide and referred people to it, but if this keeps up I'm going to go somewhere else. My daughter has been begging me to sign up for Memolink and give her a referral.....maybe I just will. I absolutely HATE anything that you have to win, because I never, ever do. I always said that I would rather buy a candy bar for $2 from a kid than buy a raffle ticket for $1 because at least I get SOMEthing for my money. BTW....do you have the email address for the sales dept.?? |

There's no magic riding the bus. You would have to put in at least two hours a day to get any of the mega points. I have media one road runner, and I can ride the bus, but it's such a drag because you constantly hoping there's bonus. As of right now, I'm not no longer ever riding the STUPID bus. They think us internet users can waste our time on it or we have no life. Anyway, in the long run, it benefits them more than us.

We would all rather get smaller points for wasting our time, rather than having a chance to maybe win some larger ones. I, for one would rather see the destination points back, which would be better than what you are doing now. Who has 100 minutes a day to waste for nothing in return? If you still feel that the BUS "sucks", spend your time somewhere else. Well....'sucks" probably wasn't the best approach....I"m not sure his reply was as professional as I would have liked no matter what....I'm not even sure I will hold my breath for the conversion.... I cashed in a Cracker Barrel GC Feb3 and it is "still waiting to be shipped"..... It's just getting harder & harder to freeload off the system these days...~sigh~ |

I didn't think realaud's email to Freeride's sales dept. was terribly unfriendly or undiplomatic, but the tone of the VP's reply was condescending and rude. I am irked enough by the VPs reply to want to send the jerk an email and tell him to delete my account. You tick off your loyal members by increasing redemption values and all but eliminating point earning possibilities, you bring back the bus but with confusing rules that only reward a few and NOBODY consistently or even logically, then you want to make it sound like you're doing us a favor and we shouldn't complain? This chump has been making money off of us. He's lucky ANYBODY has stuck with his company. We're supposed to thank him because he's trying to keep his job? He NEEDS us, not the other way around. There ARE other loyalty programs out there. Vote with your feet (with or without the stick-it email to Joe VP). |
