Based on the current "Earn up to XXX points at OfficeDepot depending upon the amount of your purchase" offer, I'm guessing this link is the point-earning screen that popped up for someone who actually made a purchase.

There's a lot of grey area with these points programs. I'd say this one falls outside the grey area into "thou shalt not" territory.

I appreciate DVD Man's caveat, but I wanted to add my own exclamation point. If you do this one, you will likely suffer adverse consequences from MyPoints, regardless of your intent.

Your best bet is to look at the posted links very carefully and only click on ones that contain no coded strings, since you don't actually know what the codes mean.

As far as the "benign" links (the thank you ones and such), you might actully want to strip the url back to the first portion and see if you might actually want to take advantage of the offer.
