I tried the Daily Tour 3 times this morning to no avail! Each time I got the EXPIRED page! There is nothing left to get dauly points on. And the only weekly is Flipside and Savvy. (Hmmmm, that new Red Lobster thing is starting to look real interesting.) |

I clicked on the daily tour today and also got it to work, maybe they were having problems earlier. Not sure if this has been posted yet or not, but when I did the Savy Points and the "refer a friend to salon savy points" both have now been changed to every 30 days instead of every 7...glad I already cashed out for a $50 gc.

I checked this morning and saw the expired link... then checked again in a couple hours, found out that the new link is to something place else (toys now). Figured I caught them in the process of changing over. As for Mypoints losing money when people click on illegal links, that doesn't really wash with me. They know people must do it... but they get paid on how much traffic they generate. And also, not every person who recieves the email will visit the site and sign up... it's making up for those who don't do that. Yes, it's illegal and I learned my lesson a while back when I went through all sorts of trouble with my account-- and missed out on over half of the Nov. points. |

I don't buy the argument that just because MP may know people do it that it makes it right. They probably do know people do it and that is why they are compensating by taking away other, legitimate, point earning opportunities. They can only bill an advertiser for what actually took place and not what didn't. If MP says it gave *xxx* points for sign ups and the advertiser says they only got *yyy* signups, obviously something is wrong. They can't bill the advertiser for business they didn't get. If, on the other hand, you went to the front page and signed up, then that's not cheating. If you went directly to the "thank you" link, then it is. I still believe that we are not helping keep these programs alive by cheating. |
