Baffled MyPoints question

I finally found time to check a MyPoints to see how I was doing and when I signed in, the result came up "member frozen". I have been doing MyPoints for 6-7 years and have never seen that before.

Anyone know what it's about? I have rec'd no email regarding whatever it is......

Re: MyPoints question

That's odd! I'd email or call customer service to see what the deal is.

Re: MyPoints question

I would say something to the technical support - help section.
Let them know what happened. I have been with them for yrs as well. But with no problems. I am sure it will be easy to fix.

Re: MyPoints question

I am in the same boat. I had over 25,000 points and redeem them and they froze my account. I email them and there reply is that they are fowarding my email to the MOPS team. After 3 days I get no reply and can not find a phone number for them. I did a search and came up with a number, but it was disconnected. I am a long time mypoints member. maybe as long as 8-10 years.

I am so mad I could spit nails. I need a phone number.

Re: MyPoints question

I wish I had a phone # for you, but....

I, too, rec'd the "we will send your email to...." bit ...and I have yet to hear anything. I guess if we go too high they don't want us???? It seems foolish to freeze anyone who is obviously participating with their partners....no matter what they have decided we did to deserve being frozen . Now they won't have any of us buying the stuff to get the points....right? Wheeeeeeeeee.....

Red face Re: MyPoints question

No, they are just cons. They did finally email me, and said I had 2 accounts. Well no not really, my wife has one and I have one. That is ok, as per a rep I talked to several years ago, and if that has changed , it still give them no right to take my points. We have only been using both our accounts for 5-6 years. They have got to be the slowest people I have seen at emailing you back. If it takes them 4 days to respond, I might have this fixed by Christmas.

I am not much at sueing, but if I don't get my points back, I might concider it. Make them come to my home town to defend it. I worked hard at getting my points 5 points at a time. maybe 50 here and there. That 25,000 points translates into about $150.00, with points left over.

Oh well it not the first time I have been burned on the internet, and I am careful. Can't be the last.

Have a great weekend.

Re: MyPoints question

Yeah....but...it seems to me that even if a person DID have more than one account, they would still be contributing to MyPoints partners and it would be a plus for MyPoints...??? Oh well..... My granddaughters will be missing the Starbuck Cards I was able to get for them...... :<(

Actually, I did have quite a few years of doing very well with MyPoints. So don't be afraid of them. The one thing I did do was get a $10 GC as soon as I had enough points. I was a bit doubtful of letting the points pile up. Good luck!!
