Dear Dean,

Because so many people had questions regarding the status of their points and/or their Memogold account, I'm sending out this message in hopes of answering the questions you had about those particular subjects as well as questions that may pop up soon. After reading the message boards, it appears that many people closed the message we had posted on the site before reading it. So please pass this along if you know other members that may also be upset with us! And if this doesn't answer all of the questions you had in your email, please write us back.

Upon your first login to the new site, all of your Memolink points from the previous system may not be updated yet. In fact, many of you will have a large negative balance if you've ordered prizes in the past. Likewise, if you are currently a Memogold Member, you may not see your Memogold status on your first visit. Please be patient as we finish transferring your data. In the next few days, your account should be fully updated.

If you can't see trivia or surveys just yet, that's okay too. Some browsers (AOL is an example) aren't recognizing our new trivia server or our survey server. Be patient, it will work soon. I'd check back in a day or two.

The points for the Site of the Day and for trivia don't show up right away. You have to log out and log back in. This won't stay like that forever, we're working to correct that in the next week. Just bear with us while we work through some of these kinks.

We have also seen quite a few comments about how much we've raised the point for reward redemption. I'd just like to point out that we've also raised the points you get for completing offers. So if you were really close to getting a prize, you will still be close to getting that prize once all of our updating has taken place.

We know that we can’t please everyone – and we did expect a few folks NOT to like what we’ve done. We can promise you this, though – once you get used to the new set up, you’ll be able to navigate through this bad boy much easier than the other site. And what you can’t see from just looking at the new site is the efficiency of what happens behind the scenes. It’s like Memolink traded in the Volkswagen Vanagon and went bought a Corvette!! Just bear with us while we work out some of the kinks. We're confident you’ll find this site easier to use. Thanks for writing!
