SUGGESTION TO HELP FREERIDE

I saw a post on another board with a great suggestion on how we can help FreeRide through their bad times. The suggestion was to write the companies that are advertising on FreeRide and let them know that their ads are working with internet consumers. My ideas was instead of everyone bombarding these companies with emails and possibly causing them computer problems was for one person to pick a company where they have actually made a purchase through FreeRide and let the company know that their ad was seen and used because of advertising on FreeRide. I recently made a purchase from OfficeMax and am willing to write the letter to them. I thought the letter would be more effective if I was able to sign the letter with my name & address AND include a bunch of email addresses to add to my letter to show OfficeMax that a LOT of consumers have seen their ad and appreciate their advertising on FreeRide. This is a sample letter that I propose to write:
Dear OfficeMax:
I recently made a purchase from your company. I was able to find your company from your advertising on FreeRide.com, and I actually made my purchase through the link provided on FreeRide's website. As an internet consumer, I would like you to know that your advertising on FreeRide works, and I will continue to support companies that advertise through FreeRide. I made the purchase from OfficeMax and am signing my name and address, BUT I am also including email addresses of other internet consumers (with their permission) who have seen your advertising on FreeRide. As a group, we will continue to support companies that advertise through FreeRide. Sincerely, name and address and LOTS of email addresses (I hope.)
Does anyone think this is a good idea??????
If so, please post a reply, and I will put my email address on DOD and send a letter to Office Max when I have enough email addresses to include with my letter. If someone has a suggestion for adding or correcting anything in my post, please let me know. I love DOD!! P.S. One more thing-to speed up the process by you and me, you could just put your email address in the re: line, such as [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]. I won't have to open the email, and you won't have to write anything.

I have decided to post my email address if anyone is interested in having their name or email address included with my letter to Office Max about their advertising on FreeRide. Thats a great idea, and I have another, we have always in good and bad gone thru planet feedback or freeride has another one on their website, instead of flooding the peons, (lower people in the company) go right to the prez and tell them what u have done via freeride..

Personally I won a prize at windaily.com and I did it thru freeride, I emailed them and told them that and said that hey your advertising at freeride pays off...The customer service person said its nice to know they dollars don['t go wasted...

Thanks, you guys!! Since I made my post at 6:01AM, I have received 25 responses. I will be sending my letter to Office Max on Monday, so PLEASE send me an email address to include with my letter. Anybody willing to pick another advertiser to write????
Question for bbelover: On the planet feedback idea, should I go in and write about my experience with Office Max (had excellent service) or should we all go in and make a post about FreeRide? Also, doesn't my points give points for doing planet feeback? My points is down this morning, so I couldn't look at it. Thanks again. My letter is going out Monday!!!
