Angry Bad experience w/ mysteryshops.com

I just had a horrible experience with one of the mystery shoppers websites, mysteryshops.com. I would like to warn you all against working for them.

For those of you interested in more details, I got an e-mail invitation to complete a "no photos required" pizza auditing job. I did the job as specified, however, now they say it did require photos. Since I already ATE the pizza, I can't produce any photos. Now, not only will they NOT pay me for the job, but they are refusing to even REIMBURSE me for the pizza!

I am so mad at them! DON'T WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!

Re: Bad experience w/ mysteryshops.com

I work with this site as well and never had a problem nor anyone else I know. You have to make sure to READ the directions before you do anything. It's not like PTR emails where you can skim. This is an important business in which things have to be done a certain way or THEY don't get paid, so why should YOU get paid? Any time you undertake a mysterying shopping you need to read the directions several times.

Shocked Re: Bad experience w/ mysteryshops.com

I'm glad you haven't had a problem with them, but I did, and I DID read the directions. I'm not familiar with the term "PTR" but I'm assuming you mean paid-to-read. I know it wasn't a "PTR" e-mail that you just skim and click. I read the directions thoroughly, and if it said "no photos required", even if it was a mistake on their website, I believe they should honor that.
