Just a note to anyone collection points listening to the music on echo.com. I love the music, but when I saved enough points to get an $18 amazon.com gift certificate I got an email saying echo.com was so "wildly successful" that it might be as much as two months before the certificates would be sent out. I don't know if the other rewards are as slow, but amazon.com was really the only thing that interested me.

I am glad to know that I am not the only one waiting around for a month for my GC to arrive. I sent off for my first one back in July and have yet to seen it. Their reply is to please be patient - they are working as fast as they can. I'm not complaining - It is a really easy way to earn the GC's. Let's just hope we have them before X-mas rolls around. |

How does echo work? When I go to their site, it makes me download the realplayer 8.0 which costs $29.99. Is there a way to bypass this or do I have to put the money up front in order to use echo?

The basic version is free - realplayer plus is $29.95. They talk about both on the site and try to steer you towards the higher version. Just stay focused on the freebie! |
