Question

I was going to try ordering webcertificates instead of the usual Amazon but I wasn't sure how they work. Can you stack them? What if you buy something for $20 and the certificate is for $25-do you still have a webcertificate credit or do you lose the rest? Also, if I get one and my husband gets one, can you use them together/are they transferrable? Any info is appreciated.

Webcertificates do allow you to add money to your account whenever you want (I don't know if that is valid when getting from freeride though). As far as using them, they work just like a credit card (actually you have to use it as a mastercard) so they only deduct what you spend. Sometimes it takes a few days to post while they are processing it. I hope this helps somewhat.

Thought I could add to the answer.... when you get a webcertificate through freeride, they email you a link to go claim it, and when you do, you have the option to add it to any account that you may already have with webcertificate, or creating a new account. If you have more than one freeride account, you can still add all of your webcerts to one account. (Not sure about webcert's rules on mutliple accounts, though)

I really like webcertificate, 'cause you use it just like a mastercard and only charge the amount you need.

Thanks! My husband and I both have enough points to get $25 webcertificates and we wanted to use them to buy my son a birthday present together but we weren't sure if we would be able to. I didn't want to order them and not be able to use them together. We both have Amazon accounts and usually we just add our gift certificates to one account so that we can order stuff together and save on shipping but I wasn't sure if I could do that with the webcertificate.

Exclamation

as far as i know webGC cannot be stacked

webGC are used like the master card credit card AND most importantly when used at amazon.com the webGC is your form of credit card payment and you can only use one credit card per order

BUT you can pay with a webGC (credit card) and use GC as well

hope this helps!!!!!

webGCs are great 2 use cuz the balance carries over, so u dont lose any of the value u dont use, & u can use them w/reg GCs from any store. also, if u 1st come 2 DoD or are a member of a rebate site, u can practically get paid to buy stuff. i've done it - works great. good luck!

One more thing I like about them, is that unlike amazon gc's who I absolutely LOVE, don't get me wrong, but when you purchase something, you can allow for shipping on it as an option, others you can use the gc for the product, but inevitably have to pay for the shipping! : )
Love this bargain hunting, it's getting funner every SINGLE day!
Woohoo!
