How long does it take to get the activation code in the mail? I signed up almost 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I got the FreeRide UPC mailers/envelopes in the mail, but no activation code.

My son got his in about 3 weeks! Just enough time for him to add up some terrific points. ------------------ DealofDay.com Save Money, Have Fun Tami [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] |

Well, I have not received mine, and it has been about 3 months. I emailed them about 2 weeks ago, and he said he had sent another card out again with the info, but I still haven't gotten it. Any suggestions from anyone? What does the information we get from them look like? ![]() ------------------ |

bbouma, The activation code comes on a postcard. The postcard has their taxi logo on one side and the code on the other. It's quite easy to miss it in the mailbox. Give them a try again. Freeride is pretty good about replying to email inquiries (unlike MyPoints) and sending stuff via snail mail. I had to email them about my activation code too and I got it a few days later. Good luck. |

Wait.....does this mean that I can't order my newly earned $25 certificate yet? I haven't gotten any card from them and I go through the mail very carefully each day. Not sure when I joined....will have to check my wallet.

you only need an activation card if you sign up using a free email account. I think that they use this to ensure that you have a valid mailing address or something like that. if you see that your wallet is frozen, you need the activation code. I didn't get my first freeride postcard so i had to request another one. Also double check the address that they send the postcard to make sure they are sending it to the right place. yeh it takes probably a month or so to get the card.

Whew....that's good. In fact that's what my daughter told me last night as well as she signed up under rocketmail. I guess she got some kind of screen that told her because she had signed up under a free email name that she would have to wait for a post card. I just discovered also last night about all the off line stuff that you could get. Guess I was "Amazonized" and didn't look any further. That $25 certificate for Olive Garden sounds awfully tempting!!
