freeride magic bus suggestions.....

So this is what I've been able to acertain so far.
First of all is the 100 minutes spent = 50 points.
This is painless.

The tricky part is the hitchhikers. The key is that 3 hitchhikers come up on each unique ad. You can do up to 50 of these, so that means roughly 17 unique ads. Its easier to keep track of if you first press the "more like this" link. Then you'll see at the top, that the ads are put into categories, and it may be easier to get your 17 that way.

Things I don't know are if the 20,30, and 50 (which I have never gotten) points count towards the 50 hitchhikers.

The 20, 30 & 50 point hitchhikers DO count towards your 50 hitchhiker total. So far I have gotten 4 20's and 2 30's ... no luck on the 50 point one though.

I can't believe how fast the points are adding up since they came out with the Bus! Christmas shopping is getting easier and easier! LOL

What am I doing wrong? I only get two and three points on hitchhikers! I just don't get the whole idea,(I feel like a complete idiot) HELP!!!!

I earned almost 200 pts. yesterday using the Magic Bus. I have only recieved hitchhiker for 20 pts.

Well Bradedit that makes 2 of us idiots, I can't get anything more than 2 or 3 either, but I agree now the points are adding up...


Now can someone tell me why Greenpoints don't add up? I can't get squat there anymore...

The bonus hitchikers are definately random. I didn't get any since I started this until today and then I have gotten 2 of them. I did managed to get 200 points yesterday, and working on that for today.

But has anyone else been having tons of trouble today getting things to load? I have to keep hitting refresh to get rid of the "page not available" errors in all three sections. Working on my 200, but getting really frustrated because everytime I have to reload the main page, the "site" page closes. Hard to keep up with hitchikers unless I go into the wallet.

Also, how do you know that each one has 3 hitchikers? I have been in some of the sites where none have appeared. Usually you will know within about 10 seconds if they will appear.

Thats what I'm guessing, I'm pretty sure you don't get more than 3.......and I usually almost always get 3 per ad.

I've had horrible problems with Freeride today too-maybe they just need to work out the problems with the new page. I hope so because it's driving me crazy having to keep loggin in.

I haven't had any problems with Freeride today......but I have a funny story.

The DH and I both have accounts and we have a little friendly competition to see who can get the most points. He did his this morning and got 259 points - pretty good. When I did mine for the day, at one point I had to run an errand so I had my 6 yr. watch for the pop-ups. That lucky kid didn't miss a pop-up, plus got TWO 20 point hitchhikers (in addition to him managing to get 7 and 8 point destination banners). He now holds the new record at 292 points!

Needless to say, we are 'arguing' over who gets help from our son tomorrow LOL!

yesh, freeride is having some problems with loading pagess, probably since they are getting more slammed then ever and having people using their webpage for longer amounts of time due to the magic bus,
