Milesource 5000 gift certificate e-mail

I redeemed my 5000 award miles on 12-05-03 and the gift certificate e-mail arrived on 02-17-04, only took 10 weeks. At least it finally came. I've ordered my $25.00 Red Lobster Certificate and now it'll be interesting to see how long it takes to arrive. Yee-ha!

i finally got accepted for my award certificates, after about 3 months, and am now waiting to get the certificate#'s so i can actually order my gc's. what a racket. ya gotaa save up points for a year and get your rewards after another year.

A silver lining in the storm cloud ?

I recently checked and have found that MileSource has increased the redemption level for the $25 gc's from 5,000 AM's to 11,000 AM's. They sure didn't give any notice about the change.

Now that they have raised the $25 giftcard from 5000 pts
to 11000 those people who redeemed at 5000pts and have
not received the special code will not be able to receive
the $25 giftcard promised.
I redeemed 9000 pts on 1/7/04 and have been waiting for
code to get the $50 giftcard and now will not be able to
get this prize fulfilled.

It's about time to admit the ride on the gravy train is over. No more freebies. Almost all the rewards-for-clicks where you don't have to spend on any purchases seem to be gone now, ie. QOOL, BLINK, NETFLIP, etc.

It looks like MileSource is not worthwhile doing as it will take so many years to accumulate the AM's to get a decent award (without doing a shopping transaction).

Let's hope and pray that MyPoints holds out as one of the last remaining good rewards programs out there.

[I]i agree with yall...i jst tried to cash in 6000 pts.and found out that they uped the pts. for that reward to 11000 pts....they are not worth my time...jeanrtco try also at ptboycott...
