My Points Being Difficult?

Is it just me or is it like pulling teeth to get shopping credits out of MP lately? I placed an order with OneHanesPlace the end of October and it was shipped in two parts. Of course I got the cheapest points credited, but am still fighting to get the lion's share of them I wrote to try and at least get them pending and they told me to wait until 30 days. Yeah, I know they don't actually credit directly for 30 days.....but can I AT LEAST get them pending??? So now it's 30 days and they are still hassling with me giving me canned answers and asking stupid questions. Then I suppose it will be ANOTHER 30 days pending before I get them credited!

I got my Dell purchase as pending, but still don't have Barnes & Noble and PetSmart orders pending which I placed the end of November. I received the BN order yesterday, but it still isn't pending. And I know if I email them about them, they'll just tell me to wait 30 days and then I'll have to fight all over again. What a hassle.

Since the shopping part is really their bread & butter, you would think they would go out of their way to get those items done and keep the user satisfied!!

Well, I am wondering if I am going to get points for Reflect.com. I guess I need to calculate the time and see if I should contact Mypoints. I definitely have received the order already. This was for email points.

My experience is that it usualy takes 30 days to post to pending, then a few weeks to credit to your account.
It varies with the merchant, some don't post verify their sales right away. I have bought from HP and it posted 3 days later, and circuit city took 30 days.
If you don't wait for the first 30 days to pass, your wasting your time contacting MyPoints.
But, at least you get your points eventually, and the best part is You actually get your redemptions, not like a lot of sites we know.....

Here is a suggestion for those having problems with my points. NEVER delete the confirmation email for your purchase until the points have been posted. That way you can send that as an attachment to prove you actually made an order through my points. Lacking that, if you have a credit card statement that lists the purchase on the same day as you viewed the site (check your daily account posting on the member site) that will also suffice.

if i wait longer than 30 days to get credited, i wait another week & then contact them, enclosing the confirmation e-mail. they're usually pretty good about crediting after the kick in the butt. the problem i'm having now, however, is with the crediting of the points from the mypoints citicard. i get a statement from citicard saying i got x points & nothing shows up in my account at mypoints. i contacted mp & they say i was credited. maybe they have a view we don't have?

I can understand what everyone is saying, but my big beef with them is that if they don't put the points in pending right away, then it takes forever to get them credited. For example......You don't get them within 30 day, then you contact them with the information, then it takes 3-5 days for them to get back to you with another question or wanting more information, then you send them that information, then it takes them another 3-5 days to get back to you saying they will credit you, but it will take up to 5 days for the credit to appear. And these last ones are business days and not regular ones. And THEN, it's usually as a pending for ANOTHER 30 days! By the time you are done, it can be up to three months before you ever get it actually credited to the point where you can use it!!! I'm sorry, but I feel that if they fail to get it credited within the first 30 days, then then shouldn't have them pending for another 30 days on top of it. Plus all the hassle in between. As I mentioned before, the shopping part of their site is their bread & butter and should get more attention than it does. It doesn't matter when the store gives them the information, they should go 30 days from the ship date until credited for useage. If they don't get it for 30 days, then so be it, but don't penalize the user for the tardiness of the vendor.

I just checked and they still haven't done anything about the Barnes & Noble points or the PetSmart points. And both those are a lot of points. On top of which they have this thing going on right now where you should get bonus points for anything that is purple. Well, if they don't have "record" of them by the end of the month, does that mean I won't get the bonus points????
