 AFTER WAITING 7 WEEKS, giveanything.com sent the WRONG GC!!
I CAN'T BELIEVE that I received the WRONG GC from giveanything.com yesterday! I ordered an Old Navy GC and they sent a GAP GC. THIS was a redemption through Milesource from a JULY cashout! IT took giveanything.com 7 weeks to send the WRONG GC! I called today and I was told that I needed to SEND BACK the GAP GC before they would send out my Old Navy GC. THAT really made me angry because it was THEIR MISTAKE but I was calm on the phone, just seething inside!! HOWEVER, I guess it will take well over TWO MORE MONTHS to get the correct GC, making it a SEVEN MONTH WAIT before I get my reward from Milesource! Four other family members are still with MS, but as for me, I AM THROUGH and am I EVER ANGRY!  What do you guys think? Should I write to Milesource and tell them HOW WONDERFUL giveanything.com is or am I wasting my time since they never answer my emails anyway? Hey, Vie, in dealing with Milesource, well, count yourself lucky indeed to have gotten anything. I know it's not what you asked for, but if'n I were you, I'd take the Gap card and run. At least it's similar in content, and not some weird outfit no one's every heard of. Why waste your time and energy any further on this? It'll only aggravate you further. In this economic climate, we can't expect much more from the points and rewards outfits. It seems as if most of them are teetering on the edge. I agree. At least you have something, and at least it is a store that is everywhere. I would be annoyed too, but then again, I'm still waiting for my GC too!

I have no idea if this will help, but try asking at a Gap or even online at gap.com if you can exchange a Gap GC for an Old Navy one. They're owned by the same company - it can't make that much difference to them where you spend the money! Maybe the Gap GC is even good at Old Navy, who knows? You could also post about trading it, or sell it in auction here or on ebay. I once found someone to trade equal value KMart to me for a JCPenney one I didn't want. I wouldn't spend postage mailing it back to giveanything, but DO write a complaint to Milesource. Yes, I agree with the other posts about keeping the gc for GAP. If you send it back, they just might not send out something in return. This can very well happen as each vendor, in the long chain, can blame another for not complying with some technicality and you, poor you, will get stuck with nothing. Seems lucky that you got anything at all, considering that someone has goofed in sending you the wrong gc. (I once got an empty package from some one!) Got a question here. Did it take 7 weeks after they said they sent it?? Just wondering cause they said they sent mine on the 27th and I still hvent gotten it and I think it has been enough time to have gotten it in the mail. They better have sent me the right one cause this is for my kids christmas |

THIS was ordered from giveanything.com on October 19th and I got an email from them that it was FINALLY sent on November 21st. It arrived on December 2nd, taking TWO WEEKS to be shipped from NYC?? Yeah, right! I have friends in the city and it takes 3-4 days at the most for mail to get through to me! And Pipanella, I am still waiting for a GC's from Memolink from July, 2001 and January 2002 so I KNOW what you mean!!!  I REALLY wanted Old Navy because I wanted to use it as a gift, my niece LOVES Old Navy. But the time for giving this gift has come and gone, just thought I could save it for her birthday. The Gap is okay, just not one of my favorite stores. I will surely keep it, not worry about getting something else, IF and WHEN it will come. I WILL write to Milesource, as if they care! I am sure they switched to giveanything.com from SuperCertificates.com(I LOVED that company) because giveanything.com is CHEAPER and cheaper could mean inferior service too.....proven true to form in this instance!!!
