Greenies Dog Treats

My little dog got this stuff all packed in the top of her pallet and I had a terrible time clearing it all out. I'll never give her these again. It really scared me.

First of all, if you read the information, it is not just Greenies that can endanger an animal, it is any of those kinds of hard, large treats. They can all be dangerous if you have a dog that gulps their food without chewing, so common sense says:

Know your dog, don't give them something they can't handle.

My dog is a little priss and chews everything, so I can give her anything she likes without a problem, but any animal can choke on large, hard treats or bones if they try to swallow them whole.

Now, this was already posted here yesterday, it does not belong in this forum, the post was moved.

Today's respost was deleted. I will continue to delete these posts if they are repeatedly made.

There is no need for anyone to make 50posts on this topic, so please cease&desist. It clutters up the forum, makes some people worry needlessly, and makes it harder to find what they came here for, the FREEBIES!

Agreed! I'm tired of hearing people talk about greenies this way. Its ilke someone jealous of the company decided to spread junk about the company around. You are right, any hard treat can do the same thing. Rawhide is one of the worst, especially for young puppies. I give my dogs greenies and will continue to. If I get a new dog one day I will give that one greenies too if s/he doesn't swallow stuff whole. I used to be a vet tech and saw what can happen because people don't use common sense. Dogs are like young kids, you must watch them closely because it only takes a second to turn your back and something could happen. People always blame the product rather than themselves.
My dogs will enjoy the free treats and I will continue to buy greenies and request free greenies when available. Its a great product and my dogs love them!

Thanks Cujo, glad to see someone else can see the whole issue. Our dog is a little Priss, she nibbles everything, never gorges and always chews her food. I have never had to worry about anything with her, and I am sure you and I are not the only ones with dogs like that.

It goes with that whole attitude that everyone is the victim, no one is the responsible party anymore.

i agree with the comment that dogs can choke on anything.i have a tiny bichon named rick james hes only 7 1/2 lbs. he loved the free greenies sample!you know if your dog is simple and will woof the treat down its throat without chewing.if thats the case move on to soft treats.honestly if you dont want it dont order it.......duh

I have a little 9 pound dog who loves greenies.....she is a very dainty eater....even when we give her biscuits. She's not a big slobber hound like our Lab is.....She gets the Greenies Teenie size.
They've never given her any problems...altho we did have problems with a different chew treat....can't remember it's exact name....Nubone, chum bone....something bone....
Anyway, it takes her awhile to eat her greenie, if she was a gulper she wouldn't get them.

skyangel, I was just going to post the exact same thing! What amazing coupons we have now!

AND....my dog has never cared one way or other about chew treats - usually she licks them and then walks away....but not with GREENIES! I held onto it, while she chewed away. It took her about 10 minutes, but she chewed it all thoroughly and LOVED it!!!

I am using these coupons asap!!!

I already got the samples and they (the cat family) loves them. They sent a fullsize sample as I was in a pet store the other day and I saw them - they were (same size and all as I got) $5.99 each - great deal!!!
