Lightbulb help to choose a tennis racquet for my boyfriend

I want to buy a tennis racquet for my boyfriend as a christmas gift, but i do not know much how to choose it.

By the way, my boyfriend is quite a good player. He has played tennis for more than 10 years. And he is quite strong but not very tall. I think he is a power player.

This is what my friend recommend to me, so, could you help me to choose one?

IS it right that the most expensive one is the best? But I need a most suitable one.

Also, could you tell me some good online sporting goods stores? I want to order online.

Thanks!

Re: help to choose a tennis racket for my boyfriend

Hi. I moved your question over here to the Problems/Solutions....hopefully you might get some more answers here.

Sorry, I can't help you with which one to pick. Have you thought about getting a Gift Certificate/Card at a local sporting goods store? Or, maybe you could ask a good friend (fellow tennis player) or coach of his...he might be able to tell you the type/brand/etc of a racket your BF would most enjoy. There might be different styles of rackets out there; you don't want to get one that he wouldn't enjoy Good luck!

Re: help to choose a tennis racket for my boyfriend

Hi,
I can't really answer this either, but since it's for your boyfriend, I think the only one who knows which will be best for him, is him. I also think a gift certificate, wrapped up nicely and then the two of you could go together and maybe "out to eat"? It would be a fun way to be there and let him choose it and you'll be a huge part of it.

Good luck,
Kat

Re: help to choose a tennis racquet for my boyfriend

I am moving this to Merchants forum, this person has posted 2 questions about different items from the same website, personally I think it's a clever way to promote the site. If you disagree, feel free to move it back.

Thanks
