Thanks bonnie, glad I could help,

Again, each member will have his/her own strategy and perspective, and what works for one may not be the best fit for another.

I wasn't outright comparing my earnings to you mommy. My response was for bonnie, and I was showing her how someone w/ 600 referrals can accually earn alot less in commissions than someone with just 50 referrals, as it depends on the amount of time & work spent doing the offers. If you have 600 total referrals, and only 100 of them are active earning money, but only earn you $99, its not as great as someone that has 50 total referrals that are all active and earning you $200-$300 a month.

I'm not commenting on your approach whatsoever, Just proving a point to bonnie to not worry about getting "ALL THOSE REFERRALS", but letting her know maybe she only needs 50 like myself. Then just keep close connections & contact w/ those referrals telling them to keep up to date w/ doing offers, and you can earn even more money than someone w/ say 1000 referrals. Bonnie got my point, qutie possibly you thought into it a little further as a shot at your character, it was never like that, just trying to help bonnie out, sorry you took it that way.

Good luck w/ your referrals Mommy, your doing a good job getting alot of referrals, its the most I've seen in a while, I personally offer you nothing but applause & honest love to you

Re: Treasure Trooper

Lately, it seems like clearing cookies is not helping at all. I had a couple of offers in a row on TT that never credited (one of them was the big Web.com)and I always clear cookies, alternate e:mails, etc. I got really bummed out!

Re: Treasure Trooper

Some of the advertisers that provide offers for GPT sites record IP info as well. So sometimes even if you clear cookies they still know its someone doing the same offer over and over again and will deny the GPT site credit, witch means the GPT site won't give you your cut of the offer either.

Most GPT sign-up sites beat around the bush with this. They wont tell you specifically when you will get credit. I know a few people with their own sites and alot of times they tell me almost 20% of all their members "pending offers" were accually credited to their GPT site by the advertiser, however its an advantage for some GPT sites to take some of that money and bank it. They can get away with it too because everyone who does sign-up offers for several GPT sites knows that there will be a certain # of offers each month that you never get credit for.

My one friend has been doing this full time since 2001 out in CA, he has said to me years ago, that he makes around an extra $3000 a month by keeping "pending offers" labled as "PENDING" permanently and just BS the member that they'll get credited when the website gets credit.

Just look at the FAQ on all GPT sites, they all have the "HOW COME I HAVEN'T BEEN CREDITED FOR AN OFFER I COMPLETED" in their FAQ and its to just BS the member that some offers just aren't going to be credited and just deal w/ it or take a hike. Its obvious once your the webmaster, you have controll on who you pay, what profit you take for yourself, and you also decide what percentage of the pending offers you can just keep for yourself. Think about it, If we all got credited for all our pending offers, we'd be making an extra $100 a month easy, and for many of us even more. But if the ADMIN Webmaster like my friend sets up his site to make 20% of all completed offers remain "pending offers" for all his members, he can bank a nice extra paycheck with that by doing it. All of the big sites do this. You'd do it too if you were a webmaster.

My friend Alex out in CA gets around $8000 net a month for his GPT sign-up site, thats $96,000 for the year on average, around 6 figures. On top of that, he also gets around $3000 extra a month from those pending offers he got credited for that he should be giving to his members, but he just leaves them marked as PENDING and banks the money for himself.. So that extra $3000 a month adds up to an extra $36,000 a year on top of that $96,000. $132,000 total. Not bad eh???? He even told me one year his 1st year he made total net forhimself of $30,000. He said he only paid his members $9,000 total. So out of that $39,000 gross for his site he banked 75% of it, thats called making a killing off your members. Don't think these sites aren't getting credit for pending offers, around 20% of all pending offers they are, but just keep the money for themselves.

I gaurentee you all the big shots in the GPT industry do it too, TT, cashcrate, swatcash, they all do it. I heard last year TT made around 500,000+ a year, thats freaking crazy.....and you know alot of that should go to its members but it just doesn't. Way it goes....

Re: Treasure Trooper

Wow... very interesting reading. Thanks for the eye-opener there! Kind of reminds me of a saying I heard years ago, "Why does a dog lick himself...because he can." Why do they keep our offers in pending... because they can! haha Like there is anything we can do about it except become an annoyance thru e:mail! haha I now go into every offer thinking, "OK, this might not go through." That way I don't feel so let down if it doesn't.

Re: Treasure Trooper

thats basically how it is bonnie. Thats why when I do around 50 offers, I know I'll get credit for around 30-40 of them and the rest will sit.....forever. I usually only get annoyed whent he $2.00+ offers don't go thru.

And when It comes to my expierience contacting the admin/webmaster through the contact form, I've found with every GPT site I've been a member of that the only question I never get a clear answer for and sometimes no answer at all is when I ask/inquire about my pending offers and when they'll finally be credited. One ADMIN really even said to me, "look, its the way it is, just deal w/ it". If it takes more than a month for them to get credit, they usually aren't going to give you credit for that offer even if they do get credit. I think on TT I have around $2000 total that was never paid to me and we all know very well(especially me since I have friends running sites) that out of that $2000, TT probably did get paid around $500-$1000 of it and just banked it. I guess I'll just deal w/ it lol.......

Re: Treasure Trooper

There's definitely some truth to what recoredingeng said - For example, I emailed TT today telling them that I still hadn't received two $1.50 credits for the picture.com and poetry.com offers - I had completed those offers a month ago. I knew it wasn't a cookie-related issue as I had never been a member of those sites before and everyone that I had spoken w/ on the forums had said that it hadn't taken them longer than two weeks to be credited...I received the following email message from their customer support:

"As far as pending offers go, we understand it can be frustrating sometimes
when you are sure you did them correctly and they still will not credit.
Unfortunately, we can only credit you when our networks have verification
from the advertisers that you indeed completed the offer correctly,
completely, and truthfully.

A lot of offers are verified within an hour while some offers can take
over a week to process. If your offers have been pending for more than a
week, consider trying them again by logging into your PENDING OFFERS list
and clicking the link again. (You will not need to hit DONE after
completing it a second time.) Make sure you delete your cookies after each offer that you complete. Also, consider alternating e-mail addresses (if you have more than one) for those offers that are "e-mail submits". This should help some of your offers credit. For more information about pending offers, please see the topics in our TreasureTrooper Forum."

After all of that - they credited me for the offer a few hours later...so I think without my prompting, this one never would have been approved...I don't sweat the $.50 ones here or there that don't show up, but when it's $1.50 and I'm sure I've done it right, I get a little agitated!
