Did a search for "scottrade" and didn't see recent (30 day) posts.

Scottrade is an online discount broker with cheap commissions and decent service. Only $500 initial deposit to start trading. Real offices (brick and mortar) and the option of tradng online (I don't have any offices nearby, but have always received prompt and knowledgeable customer service over the phone). I've been with them for over 4 yrs now. Scottrade is offering 3 free trades to both new members and me (refering member), if the account is opened through the referal link.
