Tracfone Sale extended

In case anyone in thinking of a cell phone, the tracfone deal has been extended another week.

They are offering a free phone and 60 minutes of airtime for 24.99!

I looked into this deal last week and opted for the bigger deal of free phone, one year of service and 150 minutes airtime for 94.99. (I did all the math out and found this to be cheaper in the long run for my amount of usage.) I got a referal email and got a bonus 60 minutes, plus if you activate the phone online you get ten free minutes (they give you ten free with the phone) and I gave them my email..so I got a total of 30 free minutes just setting the thing up. Since I only need this for emergencies--and the rare moments I go out socially (LOL!) I think this plan will work for me very well.

You can scoop up tracfone refill cards off ebay for a bit less than what walmart offers them...and tracfone has bonus coupons for additional minutes when you redeem a phone card.

This looks like a pretty good deal if you dont rely on a cell phone for constant use. (I'll let you all know in a year how it worked out for me! )

I also learned that if you check your voicemail using a landline it does NOT take away your trac minutes! So you can use it as a free voicemail system as long as your phone is activated!

I am an idiot...sorry. The sale is extended yet again. It is a total of 30 minutes with online activation and an extra 60 minutes if you get a referal. So it is a total of 90 minutes really, and the referal adds you a bonus month of use time before you have to buy and redeem another card.

So $24.99, free phone, 90 minutes of airtime, 2 months service.
