If you are unhappy that you are receiving e-mails, then you need to UNSUBSCRIBE from the thread in question.
As for religious posts.. nobody is sending you religious solicitations.. it is a post that is in every one of their signature lines which is very much allowed.
You elected to join the community. Have a heart. Don't be so abrasive toward people.
