Introducing myself!

Hey there! I have been around these boards for a couple of months now, but I haven't yet made it over here to introduce myself until now. I am 26 years old, from Pennsylvania near Philly. DH & I both graduated from Penn State and we're both teachers, he in 6th grade & I'm just subbing this year...I unexpectedly lost my job (over politics of all things!) - prior to that, I was a kindergarten teacher for 3 years. my DH & I are currently trying to get pregnant (but having some sperm-related issues). We've been married for 3 years in July & have been trying for a baby for 1.5 years - we've been through some expensive (non-insured) fertility treatments, which has caused me to become even more of a scrimper & saver than ever before (that, on top of only being a substitute this year). I am the coupon queen & I'm known to save $30-50 on every shopping trip by combining rebates w/ coupons & sales. The store where I shop only doubles up to $1 (so if it is a .75 coupon, they give me an extra .25), so I really have to get creative! I LOVE freebies & will do about anything to get them, so I've loved learning about how other savers like myself get their freebies.

Don't give up on the baby! Hubby and I were married 9 years before our first was born! We will be married 19 years in Nov. and our boys......yes boys are......Troy 9, Dalton 7 and Selby 3! We never went thru the fertility stuff, never had the money. We just trusted in the Lord that it would happen and when we have given up BAM! They are my miracle boys! Dr's said I would never have any.........shows you what they know! So hold faith and trust in the Lord to bless you with them when He sees fit! Will be praying for you both!
