| I oughta be on the PayPal payroll... I just sent this to a seller on an eBay item that I was interested in. It closed this morning with no bids. I just wanted to let you know that this item did not sell because of the limited payment options. If you accepted PayPal or Billpoint, I would have placed a bid on it. You may feel Bidpay is a good alternative to them, but it is not desirable to me as a buyer because of the additional fee. Basic PayPal is hard to beat as there is no fee to buyer or seller and the transaction is immediate. I have no association to PayPal, but am very curious why people would not use it, especially where not using it results in lower final bids or (in this case) indisputable no-sales. I see how Billpoint will be going away after this year. I sure hope the union of eBay and PayPal will have a no- or low-fee payment option.
