Sorry for the problems. Actually, I'm not Jeannette and I am glad! But I have called Lands' End, maybe they want to do something about it. (I sure hope so!) Lands' End said that my internet service provider (msn) had "cached" a secure page that they are never supposed to do. What you were seeing was the same page over and over instead of the one you were supposed to see. Their advice: delete all your cookies and try again. BTW, when I brought up the fact that poor Jeanette is no longer anonymous, I was told that you couldn't actually check out without her password or access her credit card number. Sorry again! |

Try again. I ordered two just a few minutes ago, cleared my cache and cookies and went back in. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or
Register Now] Just now I added 5 to my cart and it allowed me to with no problems. Usually if they are out of stock, it won't let you add it to your cart.

thanks, seggie1 for emailing me (i'm jeanette) that's not good. i used the link, threw a bag in my cart , changed my mind, didn't empty my cart, then closed my browser window. 2000 in my cart?! yikes! at least i'm sure not to leave my cc #! Land's End should help in protecting their customers... thanks again everyone for watching out for one another!  |

  They are back in stock! I guess they emptied the 2000 out of poor Jeannette's shopping basket!Jeannette, I'm sorry for all the confusion. I really like Lands' End, I think they have quality stuff and good service. But it does get me to thinking...how safe is the internet? I guess I will stick to ordering over the phone. |
