Lightbulb **last day** Harry Potter movie on DVD $9.99 @ CompUSA or PM @ Blockbuster Video

From Sunday's newspaper, CompUSA is selling the Harry Potter Movie on DVD for $9.99 after $10 instant savings May 28th thru May 30th. CompUSA will also give a free Harry Potter mouse pad ($9.99 value) with Harry Potter movie purchase while supplies last.

If CompUSA is out of the DVDs then go to Blockbuster video and have them price match it. I didnt feel like driving (a whole extra 3 miles) to CompUSA to see if they were still in stock & just went automatically to Blockbuster, they priced matched as per a commercial I heard on the radio this morning. You can probably get Wal-Mart, Target, etc. to PM also.

Blockbuster is also having a 25% off sale on their previously viewed vhs, dvd, & games.

Thanks for the post!

However, the sale at CompuUsa ended yesterday (Tuesday). I went to their site and printed out the flyer that had the DVD price listed and went to Kmart and Blockbuster. Kmart would not price match becasue it ended yesterday but Blockbuster would! Yipee!

For those who don't have luck with the price match I got another coupon from Blockbuster. It says: Now, when you rent Harry Potter on DVD between 5/28/02 and 6/10/02 at this store location, you can purchase one previously rented DVD copy of Harry Potter for just 9.99 plus tax. This is still a good deal even if you add the rental fee of 2.99.

Love actual newspaper ad

I had the actual newspaper ad and all the other sales on that front flyer ended yesterday but the Harry Potter deal is from the 28 th till the 30th. This dvd just came out yesterday.

I am so psyched i found this. I went to walmart and bought it and gave the ad to my neighbor who was going to pay full price now i have to find a dvd player

karen - who now has an idea for dh's birthday, anniversary or fathers day gift

thanks op for this info

Oh good! So, if you have the actual ad then it should work just fine. I had downloaded what I thought wa sthe actual ad from Compusa's website. In small print it says the sale was from Sunday through Tuesday on the Harry Potter DVD even though it just came out yesterday. Who knows why it is printing like this.

Thanks for the heads up. I will pass this deal on to a couple of my friends.

I made a special trip to compusa and was the FIRST Peron through the door when they opened. I asked as soon as I walked in about the DVD and was told each store gets 25-31 copies of it and that our store had 31 but they were already sold.....to employees! The store person then admitted that it was a an ad camp. to get people to come in! There were some MAD people there yesterday! I price matched at wal-mart that had TONS of copies...no free mouse paid, but Wal-mart felt bad and gave me 10% too!

online:(

I looked online and even tried calling my local store to see if they had any in stock...couldnt find the dvd on line and the store was at least an 8minute wait for an answer from a real person so i headed to walmart.

the newspaper circular is the small outer covering of the circular. they have their regular one and then they have a smaller one, about half the size, that had items for sale only sunday through tuesday. The Harry Potter dvd ad says right above it that it is good from the 28th till the 30th. The guy at walmart gave me my circular back and i handed it over to my neighbor at the bus stop and she went to walmart and got her copy. her and her dh were psyched

my friends laugh at all the deals i find my other neighbor bought it for $17, thinking it was a good deal, last night and then i emailed her with this price she just laughed.

happy shopping.

karen - still looking for a dvd player
