ValueBin has some great stuff, but the customer service is nearly non existent. While most seem to receive their orders as expected, there have been some mistakes that have been made. Members have disputed the charges with their CC company as CS doesn't return emails. This is a risk you'll have to weigh. I'm glad you posted the warning.

I ordered from this company twice, and both times my order went through fine. However, be advised..not all books are new. A lot of them have a big black mark on them, so that rules out giving them as gifts. I did the sale the time they had books for a dollar if you bought ten, and I think, out of the 12 I ordered, 9 of them were old books (not used, but old, yellowed pages, etc.)but in good condition. I think they must buy them from warehouses or something. Since I read constantly, I need what I call "back up" books waiting just in case the ones I got at the library aren't good ones.

THIS IS JUST A fyi_ They send everything by media mail so pretty slow as well. I bought a baseball hat and shirt both brand new still with tags in great condition

They still owe me $4 from the 2 books they didn't ship last time. Customer service is MIA. The quality of the books varied. Some looked new, some definitely had been sitting around awhile.

yes, they missed one book last time. and 2 had black marks across bottom. and i'm disputing the one on my cc, because they ARE mia in the csr dept. but it's still an unbeatable bargain... most of the books i got were perfect, selling for 12.95 and up currently at amazon, AND shipping is very cheap. it's hard to lose out, really, even if you get a lemon or two! thanks cat! paula.
