| target's easter 75% off now
they had quite a bit at my store last night, although, honestly, i didn't see much i wanted to buy. the plastic eggs weren't pretty, there was only generic candy... most of the stuff was kind of cheap looking. i did get a couple "easter dress up" kits for .99. they had lip gloss, body glitter, a hair barrette, and bracelet. none of it's that great of quality either, but i'm sure it'll be a hit next easter morning. they had a few window clings, but i didn't buy because they weren't pretty. i did find one easter kelly doll. she was about $2. is she normally $8??? that would be ridiculous. anyway, good luck! paula. OH! look in housewares. i found an easter pitcher and platter, ceramic, pretty cute, for 3.24 apiece. THAT was definitely the buy of the day. (they weren't marked but 30%, but scan everything to check. it was all wrong.)

My store had some junky stuff left, too. I do like the rope lights, but didn't feel like spending any money on those...lol There were some basket bags for .74/pk of 2. The bunny rattles were adorable and about .50?? Noone to buy those for... I was looking for napkins, paper towels, candy...no luck there. ![]() They did have ALOT of the toys like jump ropes and jacks. I ended up buying the last pack of M&Ms inside a hollow chocolate M&M character. That was it! I even had the M&M coupon for $1 off 2, but there were none to be found. When is the 90% off? Some of these things may look more appealing by then! |

No, seriously I only get to town about once a week so I checked today. My SuperTarget was still at 75% off. I found a few wonderballs for 29 cents, a PAAS coloring kit for 7 cents (I had a 30 cents off coupon that expired on 4/7), four of the chocolate "oranges" (actually raspberry flavor) for 37 cents a piece because I had two B1G1 Free coupons (usually $3 a piece), two packages of medium plastic eggs (12 count) for 19 cents a piece, and a Cherokee sweater for my daughter for $3.74 (regular $14.99). Our easter section is really picked over so by the time 90% off hits there will not be much.

Well, my Target had the Easter items at 90% off today also. I bought 2 beautiful Easter baskets made of tin that had pretty ceramic eggs hanging on them [they were $7.99 ea., so I got them for 79 cents]. I also bought a pretty windchime for I think 59 cents [orig. $5.99], a door hanger that was 3 painted eggs that hung one over the other [orig. $11.99, I got it for $1.99], an egg coloring kit and some little baby booties. The cashier was kind of rude and barely looked at me during the transaction. I was getting my money out and didn't notice that he shoved everything into one bag [it really didn't fit either]. Well, he took my money and handed me my reciept without a word and just looked away, leaving my bag sitting there -- he didn't hand it to me. So I picked up my bag, said thank you, and left. When I got home I noticed that my pretty windchime, the egg coloring kit and the 2 pairs of baby booties were not in the bag. Apparently, he shoved all my big stuff into one bag and he must have put the teeny tiny stuff in another [which just doesn't make any sense...if he was going to use 2 bags, he shouldn't have smushed all my big stuff into one]. Also, if he had paid any attention to me at all and handed me my bags like he should have, the items wouldn't have gone unnoticed. I got such great deals on these items and the money it would cost me in gas to go back would be more than what I orginally spent. I called the store and they do have my items. I asked them if they would mail them to me. The girl was really nice and said they don't usually do that, but that someone would get back to me tomorrow and let me know if it is possible. She said the person calling me back is the guy in charge of stuff that people leave behind. Well, I didn't leave it behind! It was never given to me!!! Aaaaaargh!!!! I just know they are going to tell me I have to go back to pick it up. It's a 25 minute drive and the items only came to around $1 or so, so I'm not going to bother going back. But I'm so upset. I really liked the windchime. If I left it behind and it was truly my error, I would never expect them to mail it to me. But it was not my error. Do you think it is realistic for me to want them to mail the items to me? Lori |
