Sold out at target.com but now Amazon has it for the same price. I was able to place an order. Only problem is that Amazon shipping! $15.00!!!!

I had something left over from a certificate so I used that and some webcertificate funds.

I e-mailed Amazon last night and asked if they could lower the price on them to match Target and this is the responce I got.

I am sorry for the confusion caused due to price listing on our website.
I have checked and found that our price for "T-Fal Royale Gala Cookset (8-

That is a great indication for the future! Amazon Target seemed to have had a different schedule for sale pricing. Thanks for posting the info and for making the contact with Amazon! I wouldn't have thought to ask!

Did you check to make sure the shipping was right? According to their charts? With the shipping errors on the throws, I wonder if any shipping totals are being calculated properly.

Thanks for the heads up on that shipping thing. I looked at their shipping rate chart. It appears they charge 2.99 plus .99 per pound for housewares.

I guess the cooking set COULD weigh 12 pounds, but...........

"Amazon" must refer to their shipping rates and their b..ah nerve .

I went to another board and found a code for $5 off of $35

I then went to try to change my order to add the code and when I checked it said it was being prepared for shipping. BUUUUTTTTTTT..... When I looked at it there was NO SHIPPING charged. It said $0.00. I had about $4 left from an Amazon certificate, so my total was $15 and some change.

Hey!!! It's worth a try for anyone else and use the code. This is makes this a smokin' deal.

I have been waiting to upgrade my T Fal set! When I bought mine from QVC years ago,I paid around $70 or so-so this was a great deal.

Since the cookware set was marked down so low,it helped to offset the high shipping.Plus the $5 off $35 code worked too

Luckily,I had been holding on to a Amazon GC,just waiting for a great deal & this was it

I think I'll give my old set to my mom.The old set is still in good condition-I just cook more than my mom does

Did anyone else find that their s/h charge was removed? I want to go for it, but the s/h is so high. It would really be a bonus if there was some kind of glitch in the system that made it free.

Not at mine. I just went there at lunch. The only good deals they had was on kids furniture 75% off. Got a stepstool, coat-rack and wall shelves for $6-8 each. Plus some drawer knobs for $1.44.

Also, I almost forgot to mention, the flannel throws were still $13.90 at my local target and the down throws were $19.90!!! Anyone who got in on the $4.94/$7.90 deal should be proud!

I got the t-fal gala set at target.com for $39.90 last week - really good and heavy-duty. Worth the half-price - great if y'all get it at one-fourth price!!
