FYI...I tried to make a reservation in Texas for next month. Price was $59.95 per nite, but when I went to reserve using the second nite free, price jumped to $109.95. Mr. Thrifty, I've been wanting to thank you for informing us about Hilton Honors program. I've stayed twice, and already have 45,000+ points. It's a great program!

it's a shame the rates jump like that because of the promotion. that seems very shady to me.

as for the hilton honors program, i, too, have really enjoyed the free stays. i'm only too glad to share what i know with my friends
