Winter WonderFest

Navy Pier invites families to Winter WonderFest, a Holiday Family Fun Fest, December 14 through January 6. Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of holiday activities and entertainment. The Pier’s Festival Hall will be transformed into a winter wonderland featuring hundreds of lush decorated trees, sparkling lights, a main town square and wintertime decorations. An indoor ice skating rink and large-scale inflatable games, including a bungee run and climbing wall, will also be featured. Santa Claus and his toy-making elves will also be featured at Santa’s Holiday Village.
Admission: Free ; $8 wristband available for all activities
Hours: Mondays through Thursdays 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.; Sundays 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Fireworks
December 14 & 15
Navy Pier will present two spectacular fireworks performances on Friday, Decebmer 14 and Saturday, December 15 at 6 p.m. Fireworks will be set to a holiday-themed soundtrack.

Adults looking for a rockin’ way to ring in the 2002 year will find just that in the Grand Ballroom as the Pier hosts the New Year’s Eve Rock ‘n’ Roll Ball'. Visitors will be rockin' to the sounds of Cheap Trick and Poi Dog Pondering. For more information, call (312) 836-4338.
CRYSTAL COUNTDOWN

Phil Stefani Restaurants will once again host its popular 'Crystal Countdown' in the glass-enclosed Crystal Gardens. Featuring big band dancing to the sounds of Nancy Hays and the Robert Benson Orchestra, the 'Crystal Countdown' continues to be a Chicago favorite for ringing in the New Year. Start the New Year at Navy Pier

The party doesn’t end at Midnight! Families are invited to 'Start the Year at Navy Pier' with a host of free family programming on New Year's Day, January 1. In addition, programming will conclude with a New Year’s Day fireworks display, choreographed to all-time family favorites, at 6 p.m.
