I mentioned this in a previous thread, but you can get around the $4.95 shipping if you order the item at their B&M store, using their catalog phones. Good thought if you were planning to go shopping at the mall anyway.

I'm planning on going to the store this week with codes I've collected online. Can I use the internet codes when I call in on the catalog phone, or do I need the catalog codes, or does it really matter? Thanks, lilyrose

Sorry if I wasn't clear...

If you go to the actual Eddie Bauer store in the mall, they provide catalog phones from which you can order items. When you order from the store, shipping is free whether you send your order to your home or as a present to someone else. ($3 handling still applies however.) All you need is your credit card, the item number, and the coupon code.

I am not sure whether it matters if you use the catalog or internet code, but as far as I can tell, they really aren't that picky. I can only say that this has worked every time I have tried it with a code that was found on this board.

Brick & Mortar simply refers to the physical store, not the catalog or online store.

Also, they will price match if your item happens to be on sale in the store or on the internet. Hope that helps!
